[redacted] Initially we were overcharged because our car rental insurance on our PC credit card would not be accepted at time of pickupThen when the car was returned there was another $charge for some unexplainable reasonNow after months there is a charge on our credit card for the sum of $A telephone inquiry was made and it was stated that the charge was for a toll roadWe were unaware there was a chargeHowever the distance was short and probably less than $5, When asked how the bill could be so high it was stated there was an administration charge of $addedIt would seem they know we are from out of province and probably would not take the bother of going to small claims court

[redacted] I was quoted $by [redacted] which included all taxesMy [redacted] confirmation email says below the quoted price, "The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees." I know sometimes the actual price is a dollar or so off but the end price for me was $and that's only because [redacted] accidentally charged me less than the $they had down on the final rental agreementHe actually wanted to go in and void the transaction to recharge me $more! I just walked away Nothing calculates regarding the numbers on the rental agreementI rented from noon 11/to 5:00pm 11/27, so round up to daysAs I usually do, I waived their insurance and asked to just use my ownWhat does a car rental place do? "OK, initial here, here, and here to waive our insurance." They said the same, but on the agreement, it wasn't clear what I was initialingThere's this one part that said simply, "TP $7.00/day"Wait, what's this? They said for a third-party insurance, you need to pay $a dayExcuse me? I have to pay you $to waive your insurance and use my own? OK, fineWhateverI'm already late for an appointment [redacted] They take advantage of the fact that people there are in a hurry to get somewhere or catch a flight and don't have time to argue with them as they're being difficult about their calculationsThis is the situation I was inI was minutes away from missing my flight and just said, "Fine," and ate the cost [redacted] So $7.00/day$x days = $21, right? Not according to this rental agreementAccording to them, $x = $which is what I was charged for this "TP" of theirsI can't even make this stuff up As I'm looking further at it now, I was also charged a $"late charge" even though I brought the car in hours early I called [redacted] figuring they wouldn't be able to help but to just vent and let them know that one of their partners is horribly dishonest and cheating their customers [redacted] was gracious enough to send me a credit and apologized for this horrible experience, so yay for [redacted] [redacted]

Traveled to Ontario from USA in OctoberUnaware of the toll road issues when we first left the rental car pick up Evidently within the first minutes we were on a tollway for km
Charge was for $which Jet Car Rental inflated to $73.27!!!!! Nice way to maximize their rental fees ***

[redacted] Initially we were overcharged because our car rental insurance on our PC credit card would not be accepted at time of pickup. Then when the car was returned there was another $50 charge for some unexplainable reason. Now after 2 months there is a charge on our credit card for the sum of $73.27. A telephone inquiry was made and it was stated that the charge was for a toll road. We were unaware there was a charge.. However the distance was short and probably less than $5, When asked how the bill could be so high it was stated there was an administration charge of $50 added. It would seem they know we are from out of province and probably would not take the bother of going to small claims court.

[redacted] I was quoted $81.18 by [redacted] which included all taxes. My [redacted] confirmation email says below the quoted price, "The total price includes all mandatory taxes and fees." I know sometimes the actual price is a dollar or so off but the end price for me was $110.81 and that's only because [redacted] accidentally charged me less than the $130.44 they had down on the final rental agreement. He actually wanted to go in and void the transaction to recharge me $20 more! I just walked away.

Nothing calculates regarding the numbers on the rental agreement. I rented from noon 11/25 to 5:00pm 11/27, so round up to 3 days. As I usually do, I waived their insurance and asked to just use my own. What does a normal car rental place do? "OK, initial here, here, and here to waive our insurance." They said the same, but on the agreement, it wasn't clear what I was initialing. There's this one part that said simply, "TP $7.00/day". Wait, what's this? They said for a third-party insurance, you need to pay $7.00 a day. Excuse me? I have to pay you $7 to waive your insurance and use my own? OK, fine. Whatever. I'm already late for an appointment.

[redacted]. They take advantage of the fact that people there are in a hurry to get somewhere or catch a flight and don't have time to argue with them as they're being difficult about their calculations. This is the situation I was in. I was minutes away from missing my flight and just said, "Fine," and ate the cost. [redacted]

So $7.00/day. $7.00 x 3 days = $21, right? Not according to this rental agreement. According to them, $7.00 x 3 = $35.85 which is what I was charged for this "TP" of theirs. I can't even make this stuff up.

As I'm looking further at it now, I was also charged a $12 "late charge" even though I brought the car in 3 hours early.

I called [redacted] figuring they wouldn't be able to help but to just vent and let them know that one of their partners is horribly dishonest and cheating their customers. [redacted] was gracious enough to send me a credit and apologized for this horrible experience, so yay for [redacted]. [redacted]

[redacted] As soon as they saw that I was using a [redacted], I was a target. They made sure to mention to me that this card had collision coverage on it. When I rented the car I was a little suspicious, but when I returned the car I knew something was up. I believe they moved my car and brought out a different black [redacted] with damage on the front right fender. They then took me out to look at the damage and said they would have to file a claim. They also charged $750 on my credit card and said it would be refunded when they received a claim number from my credit card company. [redacted]
