Greetings, ? Dan J [redacted] here co / owner of Jet Chevrolet, ? This is the firs of this complaint that I have received or heard anything about? Not one word from the ? Mr [redacted] either? ? My guys that handled this said all was good? We repaired the vehicle as fast as we could with a quality repair? Nothing ? " mickey mouse " about it? This truck does have a very expensive aftermarket fuel tank in it as this is a very common practice on these short box trucks? They do have a small fuel tank tank on them from the factory ( ? A big complaint with a lot of owners ) ? We've put in many aftermarket larger tanks in over the years, ? Typically they run about to $for the larger tank installed? ? I will contact Mr [redacted] and ? see what he wants to do? We will gladly replace it with a stock tank? We can get one out of a wrecking yard easily and put it back to stock? ? Most customers are thrilled when they see the larger capacity fuel tanks? ? Again, ? this is the first compaint we've heard? According to all my guys , nobody has heard back from Mr [redacted] after we did a quality repair on it? ? I will call him today, thanks? dan j [redacted] jet chevrolet 253-838-

On 10/08/ [redacted] brought her Camaro in to Jet Chevrolet with a complaint of the transmission has only 1st and 2nd gears [redacted] brought us a used transmission and radiator for her vehicleWe installed the supplied used transmission and radiator [redacted] took delivery of her Camaro 10/21/On 10/23/ [redacted] returned her vehicle to Jet Chevrolet because the transmission she had supplied us to install had lost 3rd and 4th gearsUpon diagnosis we found the used transmission had failed and we recommended a rebuilt transmissionI explained to [redacted] that she would need another transmission and that I would recommend putting a rebuilt transmission in instead of a used one [redacted] agreed with a couple concernsOne was that she wanted a heavy duty transmission instead of a stock one and secondly that she didn't have enough money to cover the rebuilt transmission and labor to install itI explained to [redacted] that to help her out I could remove her transmission and sublet it to a local transmission shop that could not only rebuild her transmission as she requested but add some heavy duty components as wellI also told [redacted] that we would not charge her any labor to replace the transmission in a attempt to help her financiallyWe completed the repairs and [redacted] picked up her vehicle 12/21/2015.On 03/15/ [redacted] brought her Camaro in to Jet Chevrolet for a loud grinding noise from the transmission [redacted] 's Camaro was her only form of transportation and said she need something to drive but could not afford a rental vehicle so when placed her in one of our rentals, a Impala while here vehicle was being repaired at no charge to herUpon diagnosis we found that the starter had failedAfter talking with [redacted] we replaced the starter [redacted] was called and notified that her vehicle was completed and ready for pickup on 03/25/16.While was delivering the vehicle to [redacted] , I noted there was white smoke coming from the tail pipe [redacted] asked if we could keep her vehicle and diagnose the white smoke from the tailpipe and also if she could keep the rental vehicle show she could get to and from work while we looked at her vehiclei agreed, [redacted] left with the rental vehicle and we proceeded to diagnose the white smoke issue It was determined that the white smoke was from coolant entering the cylinders and more than likely it was the result of bad head gaskets [redacted] gave us permission to disassemble the engine to the point of failureWe did so and found that the head gasket coolant jackets had rusted and allowed coolant to enter the cylinderI reviewed this with [redacted] and she wanted to fix the vehicle but could not afford the cost of repairs after spending the money on the transmission and starterWe agreed that if she could pay for the parts Jet Chevrolet would cover the cost of the labor once again to help her financially She agreed and we proceeded with the repair. While performing the repair on the Camaro I received a message Ragina F [redacted] with Compass Insurance on 04/26/wanting some information on one of our rental vehicles that was involved in an accident with one of her clientsThe vehicle in question was the one [redacted] was driving I told Ragina I had not been informed of any accident involving the rental car but that I would contact my customer and contacted her once I had some informationI proceeded to attempt to make contact with [redacted] but was unable toAfter several messages left and no return call I proceeded to verify the insurance information we had taken a copyAfter several attempts trying to call the phone number on the insurance card with no answer I looked up the address on the card and it was a State Farm OfficeI called the State Farm office to try to contact the agent on the card and they had no record of this agentI provided them with the policy number and they informed me that this was an old policy number that had been cancelled by the insured on 7/5/even though the expiration on the card clearly states it is valid until 06/27/Now after it appeared we were given falsified insurance information and still unable to contact [redacted] I left a message informing her I would have no choice but to report the vehicle stolen if she did not return it immediatelyOn 05/06/ [redacted] finally retuned our rental vehicle and denied that she had no issuance ever though she was not able to provide any documentation proving otherwiseI explained to [redacted] that the repairs on the rental car where her responsibility, she agreed and on 06/07/a promissory note was drafted and signed by Mr [redacted] who was driving at the time of the accident taking full responsibility and agreeing to pay $a month starting 08/01/until paid in full Upon the aforementioned agreement the Camaro was returned to [redacted] We have not received a payment from the [redacted] s to date Several months later [redacted] brought me an invoice in the amount of $dated 11/30/from J@M Exhaust and Auto RepairThe repair performed was stated as "rr motor, labor, machine shop, botom end rebuild, crank kit, main berings and pistons" [redacted] stated that we had left a "Small Nut And Bolt" in the engine that was causing a loud noiseDue to our extensive history with [redacted] I called J And M Exhaust to verify the repair performed and alleged cause but was unable to do so because J And M was no longer in business

Greetings, ? Dan J [redacted] here at jet chevrolet, ? At this time we believe Mr [redacted] is satisfied, ? we' have talked to him several times? ? We have never worked on this vehicle since it left Jet nor have we ever heard or had a complaint from him? ? We did not sell it as certifed as we are not a Chrysler / Jeep dealer and cannot certify a Jeep? ? Not sure where the came from, ? It was advertised as a 2013, all the paper work says 2013, ? ( and not crossed out or changed ) ? ect? It is a very nice Jeep, with low miles? ? I think their big concern were the recalls, ? we cant do jeep recalls and they have had several that were done at the jeep dealersThey did buy a very good National extended warranty so we could have done just about any of the work here other than the recalls? We cant fix what the other dealers did? We were never even given a chance to correct anything let alone give them back a "cleaned and washed " vehicle? Long story short we have offered to clean ( detail ) the vehicle and repair or try and get them reimbursed for any expenses they were charged? ? As you know we have a pretty good track record with the Revdex.com? We try our best to completely satisfy our customers, ? Before and after the sale? We will work with the ***'s to correct any concerns they have? ? thanks very much? dan j [redacted] jet chevroletfederal way253-838-

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

Jet Chevrolet has spent a good amount of time reviewing this claim and feel that we have done our part in ensuring customer satisfactionAs we mentioned in our previous response, we only have the ability to sell Certified GM products, and nowhere on this customer’s paperwork does it say that we were selling them a Certified JeepIn fact, according to the buyer’s guide (signed by the customer), the vehicle was being sold “As-Is”Also, as we mentioned before, all of the customer’s paperwork shows that they were purchasing a Jeep, nowhere does it say any other model year but nor was it advertised as anything else.We did advise the customer at the time of purchase that the vehicle [redacted] still be covered under a Jeep factory warranty, but they would have to contact a Jeep Dealer for coverage informationWe did sell Ms [redacted] a Vehicle Service Contract to supplement whatever remaining factory warranty was still on her JeepThis warranty clearly states that there is a $deductible and included an information schedule of the services that were covered As a GM dealer, we do not have the ability to complete recalls on Jeeps, or any other manufacturer than GM as they are required to be completed by their manufacturer’s dealers We also don’t feel we are responsible for repairs needed over a year after the vehicle was purchasedMs [redacted] did sign a Buyers Guide that clearly shows that the vehicle was being sold As-Is, and that the customer would be responsible for all repairs to the vehicle The Service Contract we sell for an additional cost is very specific on what will and won’ be covered and the extent of the coverageAs we explained to the customer, the service contract can be cancelled at any time and they will receive a refund for the unused portion of the contractAlso, the customer claims to have been “tricked” into buying this service contract , but the service contract they purchased is clearly listed on the vehicle Purchase order and the service contract itself, both of which are signed by the customer. When the customer had talked to Keith, they were told to send over all of the bills for us to reviewThere seems to be a misunderstanding where Keith thought it was understood that we would review their charges and get back to them, But the customer seems to have understood differently We at Jet Chevrolet have reviewed the bills submitted by the customerOur response is as follows:A bill from Tacoma Dodge, # [redacted] dated 03/12/in the amount of $for a navigation system update and a rental carWe at Jet Chevrolet would be willing to reimburse the customer the $for this bill out of goodwill since it is dated within a month of purchasing the vehicle.A bill from Bud Clary of Auburn, # [redacted] dated 04/17/in the amount of $for a repair on the Evap./Fuel system and an emission service. Jet Chevrolet is denying the request for repayment of this bill since it occurred almost months after the vehicle was purchased and after the customer put over 19,miles on the vehicle. Additionally, we at Jet Chevrolet were never notified of the problem at the time of service so we could never have authorized the repair.A bill from Bud Clary of Auburn, # [redacted] dated 05/19/in the amount of $for a deductible on their service contract used for repairs and a rental carJet Chevrolet is denying the request for repayment of this bill since it occurred almost 15months after the vehicle was purchased and after the customer put over 20,miles on the vehicle. Additionally, the customer’s service contract clearly states that there is a $deductible in Section #and the company’s choice to charge for rental cars is out of our controlAgain, we were never notified of the problem at the time of service so we couldn’t have authorized the repairAs the selling dealer of the service contract we could have possibly had the ability to have the service contract company waive the deductible depending on the circumstancesAlso we would have given the customer a complimentary service loaner as we do on most service contract claimsIf we are not given the opportunity to complete the repairs, we are limited on what we can do for the customer since we can’t be held responsible for work done by other dealersNot once in the months after the vehicle was sold did we hear from the customers that they had any problems with this JeepWe at Jet Chevrolet pride ourselves on customer service and integrity, but we cannot help a customer if they don’t even contact us to let us know there is a problemWe are not sure how we could have helped this customer with their problems if we didn’t even know they existedAgain, Jet Chevrolet IS more than happy to reimburse the ***’s the $it cost them to have the navigation system updated the month after they bought the Jeep, out of GoodwillBut we don’t feel we are responsible for the expenses of the repairs that occurred over a year and 19,000+ miles after the vehicle was purchased

Jet Chevrolet has spent a good amount of time reviewing this claim and feel that we have done our part in ensuring customer satisfaction. As we mentioned in our previous response, we only have the ability to sell Certified GM products, and nowhere on this customer’s paperwork does it say that we were selling them a Certified Jeep. In fact, according to the buyer’s guide (signed by the customer), the vehicle was being sold “As-Is”. Also, as we mentioned before, all of the customer’s paperwork shows that they were purchasing a 2013 Jeep, nowhere does it say any other model year but 2013 nor was it advertised as anything else.We did advise the customer at the time of purchase that the vehicle [redacted] still be covered under a Jeep factory warranty, but they would have to contact a Jeep Dealer for coverage information. We did sell Ms. [redacted] a Vehicle Service Contract to supplement whatever remaining factory warranty was still on her Jeep. This warranty clearly states that there is a $100.00 deductible and included an information schedule of the services that were covered. As a GM dealer, we do not have the ability to complete recalls on Jeeps, or any other manufacturer than GM as they are required to be completed by their manufacturer’s dealers.   We also don’t feel we are responsible for repairs needed over a year after the vehicle was purchased. Ms. [redacted] did sign a Buyers Guide that clearly shows that the vehicle was being sold As-Is, and that the customer would be responsible for all repairs to the vehicle.  The Service Contract we sell for an additional cost is very specific on what will and won’ be covered and the extent of the coverage. As we explained to the customer, the service contract can be cancelled at any time and they will receive a refund for the unused portion of the contract. Also, the customer claims to have been “tricked” into buying this service contract , but the service contract they purchased is clearly listed on the vehicle Purchase order and the service contract itself, both of which are signed by the customer. When the customer had talked to Keith, they were told to send over all of the bills for us to review. There seems to be a misunderstanding where Keith thought it was understood that we would review their charges and get back to them, But the customer seems to have understood differently.  We at Jet Chevrolet have reviewed the bills submitted by the customer. Our response is as follows:A bill from Tacoma Dodge, #[redacted] dated 03/12/2016 in the amount of $188.34 for a navigation system update and a rental car. We at Jet Chevrolet would be willing to reimburse the customer the $118.34 for this bill out of goodwill since it is dated within a month of purchasing the vehicle.A bill from Bud Clary of Auburn, #[redacted] dated 04/17/2017 in the amount of $626.22 for a repair on the Evap./Fuel system and an emission service.  Jet Chevrolet is denying the request for repayment of this bill since it occurred almost 14 months after the vehicle was purchased and after the customer put over 19,000 miles on the vehicle.  Additionally, we at Jet Chevrolet were never notified of the problem at the time of service so we could never have authorized the repair.A bill from Bud Clary of Auburn, #[redacted] dated 05/19/2017 in the amount of $225.48 for a deductible on their service contract used for repairs and a rental car. Jet Chevrolet is denying the request for repayment of this bill since it occurred almost 15months after the vehicle was purchased and after the customer put over 20,000 miles on the vehicle.  Additionally, the customer’s service contract clearly states that there is a $100 deductible in Section #3 and the company’s choice to charge for rental cars is out of our control. Again, we were never notified of the problem at the time of service so we couldn’t have authorized the repair. As the selling dealer of the service contract we could have possibly had the ability to have the service contract company waive the deductible depending on the circumstances. Also we would have given the customer a complimentary service loaner as we do on most service contract claims. If we are not given the opportunity to complete the repairs, we are limited on what we can do for the customer since we can’t be held responsible for work done by other dealers. Not once in the 15 months after the vehicle was sold did we hear from the customers that they had any problems with this Jeep. We at Jet Chevrolet pride ourselves on customer service and integrity, but we cannot help a customer if they don’t even contact us to let us know there is a problem. We are not sure how we could have helped this customer with their problems if we didn’t even know they existed. Again, Jet Chevrolet IS more than happy to reimburse the [redacted]’s the $188.34 it cost them to have the navigation system updated the month after they bought the Jeep, out of Goodwill. But we don’t feel we are responsible for the expenses of the repairs that occurred over a year and 19,000+ miles after the vehicle was purchased.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:At this point, we have already rid ourselves of the vehicle, and no longer wish to hear back from anyone at Jet Chevrolet. Regardless of what the paperwork shows, my wife and I were both told, VERBALLY, by Jet Chevrolet sales staff that the vehicle was a 2014, and that it was certified pre-owned. I really don't care what the paperwork shows, I trusted the word of the staff. That has obviously proven to be an itic move on my part. At least I know for future reference that Jet Chevrolet employees liars who cannot be trusted. I was also told less than two weeks ago over the phone that the costs would be covered, and then my wife was told that was not true. Again, a perfect example of flat out lying to customers. My wife and I withdrew $60k from retirement just so we could pay off this vehicle and trade it in to get rid of it. I hope the aes at Jet Chevrolet sleep well at night knowing what they cost us. If I get a single response back, I will be pressing charges for harassment, fraud, and false advertising. Do not contact me again.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Keith (sales manager) from Jet Chevrolet told me on the phone last week that he would reimburse my wife and I for our out of pocket expenses over the past year. His exact words were 'Have your wife send me the receipts, and I will take care of those for you.' My wife sent him the receipts, and he told her that he never said that to me. He is obviously lying to us, and now another person from Jet Chevrolet is lying to the Revdex.com by saying that they believe I am satisfied and that they have spoken with my multiple times. I spoke once, to Keith, and he lied to me apparently. I am not sure what Jet Chevrolet's definition is of multiple or satisfied, but it obviously is not the commonly known definition. At this point, I will be rejecting all communications from Jet Chevrolet, unless they are willing to do what they actually said. I will also be looking into the logistics of my backup plan of hiring some protesters to picket Jet Chevrolet during the busiest sales weekends this summer. I am not sure what kind of naivety Jet Chevrolet is accustomed to in it's customers, but they won't find it with me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

On 10/08/2015 [redacted] brought her 1995 Camaro in to Jet Chevrolet with a complaint of the transmission has only 1st and 2nd gears.  [redacted] brought us a used transmission and radiator for her vehicle. We installed the supplied used transmission and radiator. [redacted] took delivery of her...

Camaro 10/21/15. On 10/23/15 [redacted] returned her vehicle to Jet Chevrolet because the transmission she had supplied us to install had lost 3rd and 4th gears. Upon diagnosis we found the used transmission had failed and we recommended a rebuilt transmission. I explained to [redacted] that she would need another transmission and that I would recommend putting a rebuilt transmission in instead of a used one. [redacted] agreed with a couple concerns. One was that she wanted a heavy duty transmission instead of a stock one and secondly that she didn't have enough money to cover the rebuilt transmission and labor to install it. I explained to [redacted] that to help her out I could remove her transmission and sublet it to a local transmission shop that could not only rebuild her transmission as she requested but add some heavy duty components as well. I also told [redacted] that we would not charge her any labor to replace the transmission in a attempt to help her financially. We completed the repairs and [redacted] picked up her vehicle 12/21/2015.On 03/15/2016 [redacted] brought her 1995 Camaro in to Jet Chevrolet for a loud grinding noise from the transmission.  [redacted]'s Camaro was her only form of transportation and said she need something  to drive but could not afford a rental vehicle so when placed her in one of our rentals, a 2012 Impala while here vehicle was being repaired at no charge to her. Upon diagnosis we found that the starter had failed. After talking with [redacted] we replaced the starter. [redacted] was called and notified that her vehicle was completed and ready for pickup on 03/25/16.While was delivering the vehicle to [redacted], I noted there was white smoke coming from the tail pipe. [redacted] asked if we could keep her vehicle and diagnose the white smoke from the tailpipe and also if she could keep the rental vehicle show she could get to and from work while we looked at her vehicle. I agreed, [redacted] left with the rental vehicle and we proceeded to diagnose the white smoke issue.  It was determined that the white smoke was from coolant entering the cylinders and more than likely it was the result of bad head gaskets. [redacted] gave us permission to disassemble the engine to the point of failure. We did so and found that the head gasket coolant jackets had rusted and allowed coolant to enter the cylinder. I reviewed this with [redacted] and she wanted to fix the vehicle but could not afford the cost of repairs after spending the money on the transmission and starter. We agreed that if she could pay for the parts Jet Chevrolet would cover the cost of the labor once again to help her financially.   She agreed and we proceeded with the repair. While performing the repair on the Camaro I received a message Ragina F[redacted] with Compass Insurance on 04/26/16 wanting some information on one of our rental vehicles that was involved in an accident with one of her clients. The vehicle in question was the one [redacted] was driving.  I told Ragina I had not been informed of any accident involving the rental car but that I would contact my customer and contacted her once I had some information. I proceeded to attempt to make contact with [redacted] but was unable to. After several messages left and no return call I proceeded to verify the insurance information we had taken a copy. After several attempts trying to call the phone number on the insurance card with no answer I looked up the address on the card and it was a State Farm Office. I called the State Farm office to try to contact the agent on the card and they had no record of this agent. I provided them with the policy number and they informed me that this was an old policy number that had been cancelled by the insured on 7/5/2014 even though the expiration on the card clearly states it is valid until 06/27/2016. Now after  it appeared we were given falsified insurance information and still unable to contact [redacted] I left a message informing her I would have no choice but to report the vehicle stolen if she did not return it immediately. On 05/06/16 [redacted] finally retuned our rental vehicle and denied that she had no issuance ever though she was not able to provide any documentation proving otherwise. I explained to [redacted] that the repairs on the rental car where her responsibility, she agreed and on 06/07/2016 a promissory note was drafted and signed by Mr. [redacted] who was driving at the time of the accident taking full responsibility and agreeing  to pay $200 a month starting 08/01/2016 until paid in full.  Upon the aforementioned agreement the Camaro was returned to [redacted]. We have not received a payment from the [redacted]s to date.  Several months later [redacted] brought me an invoice in the amount of $2500.02 dated 11/30/2016 from  J@M Exhaust and Auto Repair. The repair performed was stated as "rr motor, labor, machine shop, botom end rebuild, crank kit, main berings and pistons" [redacted] stated that we had left a "Small Nut And Bolt" in the engine that was causing a loud noise. Due to our extensive history with [redacted] I called J And M Exhaust to verify the repair performed and alleged cause but was unable to do so because J And M was no longer in business.
