Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Sorry that I miss stated that the vehicle was purchased at this dealershipBut Kelsey's purchased the *** Chevrolet Dealership since I had purchased the Solstice in
Attached are Photos of the actual area on the bumper that was damaged during the time they were servicing my SolsticeThe photos that Kelsey showed were not even of the area that was damagedEven if the car had been repaired prior to this incident I am not sure why they wouldn't be responsible for the damage to the bumper that occurred while they were servicing the vehicleThe service that was received at Kelsey's was very poorThey actually gave me my money back for the services they did on the car

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.      I have attached 2 other pictures of the Solstice that were taken prior to the car being serviced at Kelsey's. Also I am attaching the paperwork that I received when I purchased the vehicle from Lawrenceburg Chevrolet. As you see the repairs that were done to the car were done at the Chevrolet Dealership in Sep 2014 it list in detail that there were straps used to reattach the fender liners. There is nothing in the paperwork that states that the car had any damage to the front bumper and as you can see in the photos there was no damage showing. The attached paperwork also show that there were no accidents report on this vehicle and a list of repairs that were done prior to myself purchasing the vehicle.  I will e-mail the remaining documents as this will only allow me to attach 4 documents

To Whom it may concern, I just talked to the sales manager, Skyler.   Skyler said we have 2 approvals for Mr. [redacted]   Both approvals are limited calls based off of income and credit score.  A lot of the time these limited calls require some participation from...

the customer to limit the risk for the lender.   [redacted] is the lender who [redacted] is referring to as his finance company.     [redacted] said he talked to them, but [redacted] doesn't talk terms and options with the customer, [redacted] deals directly with the dealers.[redacted] sent us the transcript from the call, which we can forward to you if you would like to read it, they tape all calls.[redacted] is very welcome to come back down and see Skyler, and Skyler will do what he can to deliver him a vehicle, but we work very hard with the customers and lenders so that guests don't feel they are being jerked around. We will need the $1,500 per both lenders to move forward.Paul C[redacted]

Re: Complaint #[redacted]I have read Mr. [redacted] complaint. I am sorry for his situation. But the fact is that Mr. [redacted] bought his vehicle from Lawrenceburg Chevrolet in February of 2014. He was obviously told something totally inaccurate, if he was told that "oil changes and tire...

rotations are "covered" for as long as he owns the vehicle?" Mr. [redacted] clearly states that he purchased the vehicle from Lawrenceburg Chevrolet in February of 2014. Kelsey Chevrolet did not purchase Lawrenceburg Chevrolet until March of 2015. So, for the record, Kelsey Chevrolet is definitely not responsible for any of the erroneous information provided by Lawrenceburg Chevrolet. Mr. [redacted] needs to take up his complaint with Beechmont Ford, who actually owned the Lawrenceburg Dealership until our acquisition.I would be happy to sit with Mr. [redacted] and clarify exactly what his GM Warranty covers. What I don't want to get into, is a discussion with Mr. [redacted] about what he was told by the folks at Lawrenceburg Chevrolet in 2014. There is absolutely nothing I can do about something he was told an entire year before Kelsey Chevrolet purchased the dealership!I would also respectfully ask that the complaint itself be expunged from Kelsey Chevrolet's Revdex.com Rating...something we take very seriously. (Not from Kelsey Chevrolet)·        Prior to being brought in for Service the Vehicle Sustained front end Damage and a Poor Quality repair attempt was made. (Not at/with Kelsey Chevrolet)·        Customer’s Name [redacted]·        The vehicle in question was a 2008 Pontiac Solstice, Vehicle Identification Number [redacted]   The Customer’s Statement of the Problem: “While my 2008 Solstice was being serviced at this location there was damage to the front bumper.  Resulting in a crack bumper.” Our Response to the Customer’s Accusation is as follows: It is our belief, that the Damage/Crack in the Bumper/Front Facia is the result of a prior incident involving the vehicle and a Poor Quality repair to the Front Facia and structure under the bumper cover. The front facia/Bumper cover has a poor fit and finish.  The substandard repair resulted in the issue we see today.  Accompanying this letter is a variety of Photos of Ms. [redacted]’s Solstice as it was when we performed the service repairs.     As can be seen in the photos and Visual inspection of the vehicle, the following can be observed and is not limited to: ·        Poor Prep and Paint work·        Poor Fit and Alignment issues·        Fastener locations modified to adapt to the poor quality repairs·        Improper fasteners (wire ties) used to hold the facia/bumper cover to adjoining body parts.·        Cracked or damaged parts used/reused in the repair attempt.  For the reasons listed above (but not limited to) we at Kelsey Chevrolet respectfully disagree with Ms. [redacted] and cannot honor her request for the desired settlement of repairing the damage to the bumper.   Respectfully,Kelsey ChevroletTell us why here...

Re: [redacted]Complaint #[redacted]After review of Ms. [redacted] complaint and discussions with the Indiana and Illinois Departments of Taxation, we learned clearly that we were incorrect in our assumption of this $200 charge. Please reference our first response letter dated 11/2/2016. Our position remains unchanged and restated as follows:     It is our belief, that the Damage/Crack in the Bumper/Front Facia is the result of a prior incident involving the vehicle and a Poor Quality repair to the Front Facia and structure under the bumper cover. The front facia/Bumper cover has a poor fit and finish.  The substandard repair resulted in the issues we are discussing.  For these reasons, we at Kelsey Chevrolet respectfully disagree with Ms. [redacted] and cannot/will not honor her request for the desired settlement of repairing the damage to the bumper.       Respectfully, Kelsey Chevrolet

To whom it may concern, When [redacted] purchased his [redacted] it was being sold AS-IS. He was offered and purchased an Extended Warranty, then the following business day cancelled the extended warranty. After [redacted] brought the issue of the Air Conditioning not working on his car...

we offered to cover the labor and only charge cost for the parts as an act of good faith and to retain [redacted] as a future customer. He did not agree to these terms and we will did not repair the vehicle. However our offer still stands.
