I requested a quote from Active to purchase an new entry door and install itRob was the person who provided me with an estimateHe came over measured the spaceI chose the door type and glass and he provided me with an estimate that I agreed toHe came over to re take the measurements then things got weirdI signed the work order two copies but I noticed the glass was not the same and I asked for a particular glassI then asked for the warranty on the door itself not the labour and he did not knowHe told me the door was from Windsor Plywood then he told me it was coming in from the StatesI then asked what the R factor was on the door as doors from the states do not have the same specs as doors built for Canadian wintersAt this point he got weird." You know i'm not sure this is going to workyour asking a lot of questions and I do not think you will be happy no matter whatHe then informed me that he was not going to do the work after I has signed the authorizationWhat I noticed was he was getting really angry and I actually commented to him to him about how angry he seemed to be gettingHe then took the work orders I has already signed and began to leaveI then asked , as he had said he was not going to do the work, to rip the contracts up and he didHe however wanted to keep themHe then left The questions I asked were all valid questions that any knowledgeable consumer would askThey were asked in a friendly and genuine manner and the response was unprofessional and disrespectful Think twice if you are a discerning customer who wants quality work

I chose the door type and glass and he provided me with an estimate that I agreed to. He came over to re take the measurements then things got weird. I signed the work order two copies but I noticed the glass was not the same and I asked for a particular glass. I then asked for the warranty on the door itself not the labour and he did not know. He told me the door was from Windsor Plywood then he told me it was coming in from the States. I then asked what the R factor was on the door as doors from the states do not have the same specs as doors built for Canadian winters. At this point he got weird." You know i'm not sure this is going to work. your asking a lot of questions and I do not think you will be happy no matter what. He then informed me that he was not going to do the work after I has signed the authorization. The questions I asked were all valid questions that any knowledgeable consumer would ask. They were asked in a friendly and genuine manner and the response was unprofessional and disrespectful.

Think twice if you are a discerning customer who wants quality work.
