Brought items in 7/12/pcs (specials) meaning quicker service, he picked them up the 14th and mentioned a pair of jeans still had a stain so he left them for additional service (this time day)The 17th he went right into it about the stain which would not come outFinally on the 20th I (Wayne) spoke to him and he stated he was not happy with any of the service and requested heavy starch and drip dry, which is a service we do not offerI offered a full refund and he acceptedHe then called back later and he said that was not good enough and wanted the cost of his "new jeans" as well, which I would not give as they came in stained (not new)He has received the full refund, and I will not give any more
*** picked up the subject dress from cleaning on 10/3/at 4;, she then returned this same dress on 11/3/at 4:46pm complaining that the zipper had separated when she was attempting to wear the dressI had my attendant contact *** to infonn that the zipper was working when
she picked it up on 10/and that we make no guarantee as to the serviceability,however l offered to have our seamstress replace the zipper if *** would obtain one to her liking from a local supplier*** refused this offer and continued to leave the dress at jet cleaners and in fact later denied that she was even contacted about obtaining a zipper *** even dropped off more cleaning on 2/18/with no mention of the subject dress, this cleaning now included the jacket that is the subject of later problemsregarding all of this when I told *** that the things she was telling me this were not the same things that my attendant had told me she assumed that I was calling her a liarAt this point our conversation degraded and *** began to tell me that she was an administrator in the school system and that she could do 1,rreat harm by word of word of mouth and social media to our businessI Told *** that l interpreted this as a threat and that our conversation was about to be over.The Jacket was left on 2/18/2017, upon cleaning color bled and *** was contacted on 2/22/for extra time to spot clean the jacket .jacket was sent to *** location of jet cleaners several days later for a more experienced cleaner, here it was discovered that the jacket should not have been dry cleaned, a tag on the garment " barely readable" indicated that ''spot cleaning" was the preferred methodl was not sure if the garment could be saved, but had made several attempts with a progression towards successOn 3/18/***appeared in person at the *** location and demanded her jacket, I informed her that the jacket was currently in the machine and was not available, and that I would return it to the *** location for her to pickup on Monday .*** then called the *** police department for resolution, I was compelled by the police to show them the cleaning machine with her jacket in it, and explain in detail why I could not short cycle the machine, and finally I was compelled to produce identification and provide personal info to the police officer as if I had committed a crime.l invited the police officer to have *** wait outside the building until the machine was complete for the return of her jacket*** left cleaning at Jet Cleaners time beginning in 4/of her visits of them were for "doover cleaning" she has never been satisfied with the work performed at Jet Cleaners.At this time I make no offer for the broken zipper, given all circumstance I am no longer willing to install a provided zipper.On the jacket , because it should not have been dry cleaned we must accept responsibilitymy final effort to remove the renegade dye was nearly successful, but for some spots on the back, l believe thatif! could have had a few more days I would have been successful.*** the retailer of this jacket went out of business in 2105, I found of this exact jacket and size on line from *** at $and at *** at $the original list price for this Jacket from *** was This was not a new jacket, it Displayed both signs of wear and soiling.therefor I offer to *** 60% or $ I hope that this offer will be considered fair and acceptable and will satisfy all claims against Jet Cleaners
