Motor rebuild in jet ski has taken over 18 months and still not resolved.I delivered my jet ski for a motor rebuild in March 2014. It is now August 2015 and motor repair is still not completed. The ski is sitting out in the parking lot for the last 2 summers in the sun fading the machine and depreciating the value in appearance and thru aging. He has had multiple delays in this process and never seems to resolve it. He never calls you or follows thru with any promises he has made about the ski. I have been more than patient in waiting for this to be completed and I'm tired of seeing other machines going there for repairs and leaving while mine is still unresolved.Desired SettlementI want the jet ski repaired as promised. The motor came to me in pieces and not in good shape. So with alot of patient on customers part we got started. Customer also knew that it was the wrong time of the Season to start a rebuild of this type. JetSkiDoc was gearing up for the Spring Season, and was flood with skis to be serviced and returned the customers. Major Rebuild like this only take place in the Off Season time frame from October to March Only!! And the customer knew this was a hard ship on us. There were a number of issues that took place, that season like Father Death in May. I was in the Hospital for Heart issues, along with a broken knee that was operated on in late October of 2014. JetSkiDoc lost almost all of its rebuild time because of the Surgery on the knee. Custmer has not provided any type of cover to protect the ski from mother nature. Jetskidoc has kept the ski washed and wax for the last 12 months. JetSkidoc has put more electronic parts into this ski, just to get the ski to run the motor at wide open throttle. Ski idle just fine. The motor was a basket case to start with. So far Jetskidoc has put a New Stator, Starter, Flywheel, And New Reeds to make ski run correctly. All of this New Parts were not in the original Estimate of repair. I am beginning to believe that the problem is with the MPEM Computer on the ski itself. But tried another ski MPEM Computer from a good running ski, with the same results. Big Mystery on this ski. I know the Customer is frustrated, but so is JetSkiDoc.Going to finish the ski today running or not and turn it loose, I am done.
