Summary: DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS, THEY ARE CROOKS
We rented a big boat and a jet ski from these guys over the weekend. They took a $500 deposit for each of the boats. A big mistake we made was not reading the other Yelp reviews on the damage scam these guys are running. We came back with the jet ski and these guys said we owe $450 for some phantom damage! We took pictures and said these are bogus claims at which point the whole outfit threatened us. They have this bogus person who fixes skis for them come in and claim he is "independent" (how can you be independent when your business relies on income from this place?) and assess the boat. He starts writing down all sorts of charges to scare you. The owner [redacted] then calls and makes further threats. At the end of the day they wore us down---we had kids with us and wanted to start our way back to Seattle.
They know they can prey on a transient customer base and they take full advantage of that fact. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE, MAJOR SCAMMERS!
