Review: It is actually failed to honor a written commitment to provide refund with a total cancellation fee of $300. I emailed [email protected] to cancel and refund my ticket. [redacted] replied to my request for a refund with a cancellation fee of $300. I replied to him and the helpdesk that I accept that $300 fee and request the remainder to be refunded to my credit card. I followed up with a call to ###-###-####. [redacted] told me at first to wait for [redacted], then told me that the price was actually $600 because it was $300 per ticket. I asked that she please honor the amount sent by [redacted] for the total, but she said it was incorrect and she would talk to him. I asked for the breakdown of the fees and she said she could not give them to me immediately, that she had to think. It sounded like she was making up things as we talked. I asked for her to email the fees to me and she did but they were another figure, $514.90.

I respectfully request that the tickets be refunded less the cancellation fee amount presented by [redacted] of $300 total. Copy of the initial emails with Jetsetz helpdesk stating the cancellation fee is $300 and requesting confirmation to proceed. From [redacted] to HELPDESK: I need to cancel this trip and get a refund, please. [redacted] AGENT PI/ED BOOKING REF [redacted]. From [redacted] to me, helpdesk: Dear Phillip, In order to cancel this ticket you need to pay a cancellation fee of $300. Please let us know if you want to proceed Thanks Jetsetz Support. From: [redacted] to [redacted]: Yes, please cancel. I will accept the $300 fee. I assume it will be refunded to the credit card I used. Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Cancel the tickets for the total $300 cancellation fee as presented by [redacted] and accepted by me. Refund the remainder to the credit card used for the transaction.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

I am sorry that you are upset regarding the cancellation fees that the airline is charging you to cancel both of your tickets. As you are aware, the airlines charge a substantial penalty to cancel their airline tickets. I agree with you that these fees charged by the airlines are excessive.

Although I understand your frustration, I just want to be clear that there was never a written commitment to cancel both you and your wife's tickets for $300. We are sorry that there was initially some confusion between you and [redacted] regarding the $300 per ticket fee. However I have since read the email that [redacted] sent you, and in that email [redacted] clearly stated that the fee to cancel 1 ticket, was $300. I copied the email that he sent to you on Friday July 12th below:
