We had taken a kitchen screen to Jewell Glass and Mirror to be replaced, They measured the screen and indicated that it would have to be custom When the screen finally came in, which had taken a week and half longer than they had previously indicated, I went and picked it up When I got there I had two screens, which I thought was strange since our kitchen window only took one screen They said it was one for each window When I got home I tried to put the screens in myself and I couldn't get them to fitI couldn't even get them inside the frameI called and asked if they could send someone over (I only live 1/mile from their business) because, I told them, that I didn't want to bend them all up At first they said they would someone when they have time I called again and got the same response, again same response The fourth time I called they said they could send someone for a $service feeNice, huh? They insisted they measured the old screenIs it possible they read the tape wrong or entered it wrong in their computer system? NoThey don't make mistakes, apparentlyWhen they went to look for the old screen it had already been thrown away, so all they had to go off of were the measurements put in their computer When I asked for my money back, they said they couldn't give a refund for custom screens They weren't willing to help a customer out by sending someone over blocks away from their business to put it inIf it were so simple and they were to fit so well, then why didn't they come out and do it? Customer Service like that is pathetic Businesses that are only willing to take your money and not batheir workmanship have no business serving anybody

They insisted they measured the old screen. Is it possible they read the tape wrong or entered it wrong in their computer system? No. They don't make mistakes, apparently. If it were so simple and they were to fit so well, then why didn't they come out and do it? Customer Service like that is pathetic. Businesses that are only willing to take your money and not back-up their workmanship have no business serving anybody.
