Purchased a cell phone battery and I was charged for the price of a brand new battery and instead I got a used battery for the price of a new one!I purchased a [redacted] cell phone battery from a store called Jewelry Care Center on Saturday March 29, 2014. The purchase was made in the form of cash and it was done at 20:09 pm in the amount of $37.80. I paid for the price of a brand new battery. After I made my purchased I went to two stores that sales cell phones and accessories and I was told after both stores looked at the battery they told me that the battery was used and not brand new. They asked me how much I paid for the battery and they told me I paid the price for a brand new one. They showed me and told me how a brand new battery is suppose to look. SO I went back to the store and asked them if it was brand new or used and they said it was brand new. I asked for a refund and they said there's the door. Meaning there's the door get out of the store. So I talked to a sheriff in the mall about what happened and he told me I would need to file a complaint. I want my money back in full or a brand new battery! If I had of known that I was going to get a used battery I would not of bought it. I was told there was a one year warranty on the battery but, they did not give anything in writing stating that there is a warranty. We worked for 30 minutes on his phone because we are a phone repair shop. At that point we cut open a new battery and placed it in his phone . The phone and battery were working fine the same way it is still working now. He went down to a cell phone accessory shop that does not repair or sale batteries.He came running in with his battery without his phone saying this is used battery after witnessing us opening the package in front of him. I said how did you come up with that, he said his friends told him (who were not at our store when he purchased the new battery. We have a no return no refund policy that is posted at the register. We will exchange our battery for another new one but then we are done!Consumer Response First of all the store did not work on my phone for 30 minutes! The battery was pulled out of a drawer that had no packaging on the battery. You could tell by looking at the battery that it was used. The cell phone accessory shop that I did go to does sale cell phone batteries. I do have proof that a friend did buy a battery from this shop! One of my friends was with me in the store at the time of purchase. So that was a lie. The Jewelry Care Center is not being honest about anything it is saying. I want a refund because I was sold a used battery for the price of a new one. Even a local cell phone store has said the battery was used and not new. How about being honest please!Final Business Response We are standing by our first statement, and now he is being charged $10.00 for using what was once a new battery and now lessening the value of the product. [redacted] and [redacted] sells this battery aftermarket for $45.00. He has two weeks as of 4/14/14 to walk into the store to resolve this matter. Otherwise, we won't be doing anymore business of any sorts with this man.

Brought in a phone for repair and did not get SIM card returned with phone after repairs couldn't be made in a timely manner.Brought in a phone that had been dropped and needed a screen. After 1 week and 2 delays phone was not fixed so I picked up phone. SIM card was not returned with phone. Called and spoke with owner who stated that they did not have phone SIM card and that it was returned. The owner then proceeded to verbally assault and suggest that I must "go to [redacted] and even went as far as to answer the phone "Hello [redacted] Was hung up on repeatedly until a mall security officer was called into the store and handed the phone. I proceeded to tell him the story and all of a sudden the owner produced a SIM card for the security guard to take to the guard office and my wife come pick up. Was not treated well at all as a customer and I am extremely disappointed in my customer service experience.Desired SettlementBusiness should apologize to me as a customer and offer customer service relations training to all managers and sales associates.Business Response On Friday 6/27/14, a nice lady brought a phone she had run over with her car. We found the problem, explained to the customer that we would have to order a part before continuing the repair. The part was then ordered after agreement of customer. After a few days, the customer was then informed the part was delayed with the post office. On 7/8/14, the customer's husband came into the store screaming that it was taking too long, and that he wanted his phone(On our camera system we have it all on tape.). We gave him his phone and taped on the back of his phone his sim card telling him we did this so he won't lose it. On 7/15/14, we began getting calls about this sim card, he called and screamed at us for 45 minutes straight, we couldn't hang up our phone. ([redacted] has records of the each call made. No other calls could be answered or put through to our line due to the constant call backs.) A doctor from [redacted] was there picking up a repair item and said we have lots of patients who scream like this. We tried to tell the husband that we had talked to [redacted] saying that they had no issues giving him a new sim card, after the husband had originally told us [redacted] would not. The husband still proceeded to keep calling for another 15 minutes. We requested that Mall Security come in the store to try to talk to him, and to ask him to stop calling. At this point we gave security a sim card that was not his, security told him he was not allowed to come into the store. One hour later he started again with harassing calls and screaming for another 23 calls.We have all of this on camera. We are sorry but we do not tolerate harassment from customers.
