The sewer line in my older home quit draining completelyI called Gene Love's PlumbingThey ran a camera and discovered that the whole line from the house to the road was compromised by rootsIn one day they dug it out and replaced it with schedule pvc with a two-way cleanoutI decided also to have them replace the old galvanized main water line and install a stainless steel ball shutoff valveI have complete trust in their integrity
[redacted] was a pleasure to work with He was there when he said he was going to be there and was upfront and honest with each and every aspect that I needed to take care of He went beyond what was asked to ensure that the water company took responsibility for their part The work that needed to be done, was done the same day as requested and my renter was a happy woman Thanks for the professionalism and quality of work that was done
Our AC was not cooling very well We requested a service call The technician came out and said our unit was frozen up and that it needed to be thawed so he turned the AC off and turned the heat on This took about minutes During that time he put some duck tape on a piece of instillation that was drooping The unit was fine after that He told me the bill would be $438!!!! He said the thawing of the unit was $370!!!! and the service call was $and oh by the way you unit needs to be serviced!!!!!!!! We were charged for something that the technician could have done for the price of the service call or told us to do Oh and by the way, he was not there minutes before he started trying to sell us a new unit (ours is only years old) for $7500!!! Very disappointed in the service for the amount of money that we had to pay

I feel like I needed to leave a review to warn others about Gene LoveI had called Gene Love over other plumbers thinking they would be top notch and extremely professionalI received the exact opposite kind of serviceJuaon at customer service lied and was extremely rudethe technician that came to my house didn't even introduce himself or knock on the doorHe just started looking around outsideHe never even came in the house when I explained the leak was inside the homeThey ended up over charging me and fixing nothingThen when nothing was fixed they wanted me to pay before coming back outI had them over a second time and the issue was not fixedI ended up having to call a completely different plumberPlease steer clear of this companyThey are unprofessional and a bunch of liarsI was really disappointed and I never leave reviews but I really think people of the area need to know Gene Love is the last plumbing company they should call
