I had sod put in my backyard and was not happy with it (with a 90 day guaranteee). Refusal of company to replace dead sod.
On 9/26/18 I had sod put in my backyard by JFC Sod, LLC. I was promised "beautiful, green sod" but it wasn't even close. The owner said it would be fine and that we had a 90 day guarantee anyway. When I called him to tell him how unhappy I was, he said he would be over the next day. He was a no-show for the entire day! I did this at least 3 different times (scheduled a time for him to show up to replace dead sod) and each time he was a no-show, with no phone calls to let me know he would not be there. I have numerous texts from the owner stating this information and still he is a no show. I either want the dead sod replaced or my $1,275 dollars returned.
We would like JFC sod to actually show up and finish the job they promised, including honoring the 90 day guarantee. The owner knew it was not good sod when he put it down and did the job despite my concerns.

We told the customer that the we would not be able to replace the sod at that time since the sod was not available. The customer can call me to schedule an appointment to have the sod replaced.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They never once told us that the sod was unavailable. We have multiple text messages stating that he would fix the situation the "following day", yet he never showed up or responded to my texts asking where they were. Once we received their response we texted them again but did not hear from them until yesterday (12/15). In the phone call yesterday he stated he would be here "first thing in the morning". We have waited all day (AGAIN) for him to show up and again, he is a no show. I called him at 2:30 pm and asked where he was at and he said he would be here tomorrow morning (12/17) at 7:00 am. Hopefully he will be here to fix the problem, but I wanted to get this information to you before 12/17 because we are not confident that he will keep his word, since he hasn't to this point! I will let you know tomorrow if he shows up to address the problem.

We went back to the customer's home with a pallet of sod and put down new sod.
The company will not return phone calls. Did not deliver as promised.
The company promised to be prompt and never showed up with the sod. I sat around the house for over 6 hrs. I called the number and nobody answered the phone. I called from a restricted number and the company picked up. Once I told them who I was, they hung up.

Company did not honor contracts warranty
I contracted JFC Landscaping & Sod to re-sod 6,800 sqt of my lawn with 5 month warranty on May 6th, 2017. A month later a section of new sods started turning yellow and died. I have contacted JFC Landscaping repeatedly about the problem for more than 8 weeks but JFC would not come to repair or replace the dead sods. Meantime the problem is spreading to the entire lawn.
JFC Landscaping must honor its contract warranty and replace the dead sods
