is evidence of property damage on your partThank you for having the building inspector visit my restaurantI am sure you received the same information as we did that the floor is sound and had to be damaged by force rather than accidentIt had to be executed with forceWhile inspecting the floor, I became aware of a minor issueI believe strongly on the saying, “But for the grace of God, go I”I decided at that moment, that I will choose to thank God for using you to bring to my attention something that may have taken much longer to be noticed then, not to go on with chargesI myself have had to ask forgiveness and I would like to forgive rather then hold on to ill willI pray the same for you I will touch on a few things that your girlfriend and I had discussed on Sunday February 19th, She stated close to the same things that you have stated in your letter to myself and the Revdex.com St LouisI explained that your server was equally frustrated at the situation and herself for not being able to do anything to accommodate you and your girlfriendShe explained it as though your girlfriend was being mean, aggressive and wouldn’t except any of the suggested solutionsFirst, she had told me that the server thought we could not do chicken tenders because they were on the kids menu and only offered to yrold’s and underI then stated, the server had told me that she did offer the menu with chicken tenders on it to herShe agreed that it was her mistake and yes, the server did apologize for the mistake and asked if she wanted to order the chicken tendersYour girlfriend declined because she had ordered the grilled herb chicken and wanted to stay with that optionWhen I asked about the sauce confusion, your girlfriend denied that there was an issueThe server started to explain to me that she felt inadequate on doing anything right for you twoShe said that she tried multiple times to offer a similar item or to make the situation positive for you after your girlfriend was wanting items that we do not have on our menu Going back to the night you visited us, the sever and I were interrupted with a loud car engine noise and the sound of tires burning out in the parking lotWe stopped talking and started to look out the window into the parking lot areaWe saw a mustang creating smoke from its tires spinning on the pavementRight then, the other server came in saying that the couple at table #had just honked their mustang cars horn at her while she was taking the trash out and revved the engine so the tires would burn against concrete parking lotYou preceded to back up and do it againShe said at first, she thought it was someone she knew trying to get her attention but quickly realized it was the loud, aggressive and rude couple from the red dining room areaShe also made the statement that it was strange that the car was backed into the parking spotWe could hear the car going up and down the block revving the engine and squealing tires for at least minutes when I then decided to call the cops to inform them of what just happened Going back to speaking with you two, your girlfriend was speechless when I asked where the change came from that was left on the table because that was part of your complaint, that the server didn’t leave the receipt or change Moments later, she stated that you had paid and she didn’t know what happenedThe server stated that you left the change spread out on the table for her as her tipShe had thought it was done in a way that was trying to be as hurtful as possible Your girlfriend said that you two waited minutes for the server to present the check but not a few sentences after that, she said you two circled the downstairs looking for anyoneNot being able to find anyone, the two of you left Also, there were two servers, myself and four of the kitchen workers still clocked in finishing the night duties while you two were eatingOne server was sweeping and resetting tables in the dining room with the stairs and your server was upstairs resetting or at the downstairs bar which was in eyesight of your tableI was upstairs in the office with view of camerasAt one point, I called downstairs to check and see what the loud noise was that I heardThe two servers were not aware of any loud noise so I shrugged it off as one of the many noises heard while working a restaurant shiftThe next morning, my server came up to me with his phone out with a picture of my floor at table #on it showing intensive damage done to itThere were to inch holes in three of the wooden slates at the corner of the room right were your girlfriend satI went to investigate and saw wood dust on the chair leg, a busted floor, and indentations in the floor from the bottom of the chairI then called the sheriff’s office to see if they could suggest what course of action I should takeBetween the time the police stopped in, I started asking my staff if anyone had noticed the floor before and after the couple from last night had dined with usMy mom told me that the server they honked at had been sweeping and mopping the floor when they were satShe was interrupted and had to stop so we could seat youShe was positive that the floor was undamaged at the time of you two sitting In conclusion, sir, I regret that neither one of us had a night that I set out to achieve for my guestI must stick with the facts that I have done everything possible to ensure a great time could have been had at my restaurantI cannot be responsible for your judgement and aggression towards the situationI would also like to state that you and your girlfriend do not have to feel that people are treating you in any negative wayThat is not a feeling anyone should live with and you do not deserve to put that pressure on yourselvesI find that
