Review: I had rented car (minivan) from JFK Auto Rental for family vacation after arrival in JFK on **JUL13.We had traveled to Washington D.C and Niagara fall in Canada. But at beginning of travel, the air-condition system did not work correctly like airflow and temperature was not being adjusted as selected position only worked at high flow level. Also some high noisy continuously had occurred on high speed on freeway and tire pressure warning indication had been always displayed. Also some insect and dog fur found in car seat and my kids had skin irritation appealing itching during traveling because the car was not cleaned before rental for customer.During on the way to New York on **JUL, the air-condition system finally stopped to operate and no airflow supplied anymore in Syracuse city approximately 6 hours far away from New York. So we could not drive the rent car anymore because it was very hot weather condition and 5 people (including 3kids) were on board. We tried to contact Auto Rental and requested to change the malfunctioned car with other one. But they said they can't because their company is not nationwide one and requested to bring the car to New York if we wanted to change. But we explained that we can't drive the malfunctioned car for hot weather condition and long distance with unsafe and unserviceable condition.So they recommended to bring the car to auto repair shop nearby to fix problems. We had brought the car to auto repair shop nearby they recommended but the first auto repair shop denied to check the car condition because they were very busy. So we brought to second auto repair shop they let us know by text message. And then the mechanic had checked the problem car and tried to fix problem for 2 hours. But he can't the problem and also found the other problem on both front tire which seriously worn out. He was surprised and commented how JFK Auto Rental CO can supply the unsafe car to customer. He made document to prove the car can't be used on high speed on freeway and malfunctions.We had contacted the rental company and requested to prepare the other car for my family because we already wasted our family travel time so the manager (named [redacted]) recommended rent the other car from the other auto rental company and parked the malfunctioned car to parking lot. He promised if we did like his recommendation he will reimbursed all of expenses for previously rental fee prepaid and new car rent. So I requested to send the written promise by E-mail. And we received it. So we had tried to rent the other car from auto rental nearby in Syracuse. But we cant for all of rent cars were being sold out in Syracuse downtown area. So we went to Syracuse Airport and looked for car in airport but most of rent cars like minivan were also sold out, only SUV (TAHO) left there to be fitted our family (5 people and 3 luggage).We rented the car from Enterprise Auto Rental after parking the problem car on the parking lot in Syracuse Airport Terminal and then arrived to New Jersey at late night. Next morning we dropped by JFK Auto Rental Company to reimburse and returned the malfunctioned car key. But they denied reimbursing all of expenses as the manager promised on E-mail, only they can refund the prepaid rental fee. We dropped by office again before leaving New York to request reimburse again, but nobody stayed in office and received call for customers treatment. So we returned to California without any compensation for this problem. I would like to request reimbursement as promised on e-mail for Pre-paid rent fee and new rent car and compensation for inconvenience and ruined vacation.Desired Settlement: I would like to request reimbursement as promised on e-mail for Pre-paid rent fee and new rent car and compensation for inconvenience and ruined vacation.

We have reviewed the Customer Complaint in detail and have responded accordingly. Jn the attached complaint, the member expressed two main concerns. The first concern was that there had been fraudulent activity on the member's credit card. We take these claims very seriously. After investigating,we've found that the member had one authorized credit card listed from October 2012 through June 2013. The member then changed the credit card on file in May 2013, which remains the current card on file. Both credit cards were authorized to be on the account by the credit card holder. We have signed documents attesting to that fact. All charges to date have been for the member's monthly dues, which are removed every [redacted] of the month.

The second concern was with cancelling the membership. All residential members do have a 1year obligation. However, they may cancel with in that obligation for one of the following reasons; job Joss, medical, or relocation. Each reason requires proof to be submitted. If the cancellation reason is medical then we require a note from a medical doctor stating that the member will not be able to work out for a period of more than 6 months. The cancellation date would be effective the same day the proof was submitted and the cancellation request was signed by the member. We have not received any paperwork to date. The member has a balance on the account for the past two months of dues, July and August. The membership is set to cancel due to final notice collections on 8/**/13 and has a balance owed of $300.00. Since we did not receive any cancellation proof or a signed cancellation request from the member, we could not cancel his membership and we continued to bill as normal. If the member would like to resolve this balance, he may do so by making a payment over the phone or by visiting any Equinox location.

Review: I rented a car from Nu car rentals on 1/*/2016 for a week. I returned the car on 1/*/2016 and was told within 7-10 business day I would receive my refund from the $300 hold they took on 1/*/16. I've made several attempts to find out why my refund ($151.46) has not processed. I get Excuses or a lies claiming a check was cut and mailed. It is now 2/**/2016 and I have not received my refund and no one is helpful.Desired Settlement: I would like a check cut and sent to me.
