Owner did not want to show me what he was going to be doing for additional charges. Told me to use someone else! Discriminating women!
JFK installed new AC unit, supplies were provided from my home warranty. When receiving an estimate I questioned what the "duct modifications" were and if they could show me what that is when doing the installation. I am on the phone with scheduler when I hear the owner, *** in the background yelling "tell her to use someone else!" At this point they already had my supplies and I wanted the job to be done ASAP so I went ahead and used them. It was clear the owner did not like being questioned by a woman. He later called and said that he would take the "duct modifications" off the bill because it was not needed. I believe he was trying to add misc charges that weren't needed for some extra money in his pocket. 1 week after install AC unit is still not running properly. *** insists that I call Home Warranty and that it is the thermostat. Impossible to work with and horrible customer service coming from the owner of the company. Not trust worthy.
Want my AC to work properly. Not turning off once it gets to the temp we set it at and also not getting the house cool enough. we set it on 70 and house only gets to 72 degrees.
I came to your home the morning of the install with the crew to show you what we were going to do but you were not home. I took your husband downstairs and walked him thru everything we were going to do inside and then took him outside and walked him thru everything we were going to do outside of the home.
When you called and said you were still having problems I offered to come out and look at the unit again to see what the issue could be and also advised you that you also needed to call the home warranty company and report to them that you were still having an issue because we had already closed out your warranty service claim and wee are not able to add any future updates once it is closed.
I never heard back from you regarding a new appointment.
After you filed this complaint I called a few times more and received your voice mail each time. I left a message every time but have never received a call back from you.
Since you won't return my calls I mailed a refund check to you for the $150 you paid JFK for your AC installation. I also called and spoke with Shelby at the Revdex.com and explained everything to her and she said that I have done all I can do if you are not going to be responsive to my phone calls.
I am sorry that you were not happy with the service we provided to you and that's why I refunded your payment and we wish you all the best in the future.
We very recently just had a new furnace put in by JFK Heating and Cooling. The two technicians were courteous about our wood floors and had asked to go through the back door so that they would not have to track over the floor and take the chance of damaging it. They are fast and efficient and they get the job done. They do not waste any time. I would recommend them to anyone who would ask.
