Review: I stayed at the jfk inn on June **,20015 until June **,2015.. On the last night at the hotel. My family and I were bitten by bed bugs. When we got up the following day we found the actual bed bugs in the bed.(which we took pictures of at that time while it was still alive) at that time I requested to speak to a manager. No manager was present and I was instructed to contact the manager another day in regards to me having my money returned. One of the employees informed me that they were also well aware that they had bed bugs. From the [redacted] I've tried to contact a manager along with [redacted] (who I book the reservation with) today June **,2015 I was finally able to contact a manager. However I had left over several messages with the hotel staff to leave with the manager. I was finally given another number to contact him. When I spoke to the manager today he was extremely rude and hung the phone up on me stating that's the bug problem was not their problem. It was the problem of others who came there. I ask the manager ([redacted]) if I can speak to his boss. He told me no! And that the buck stops here and hung the phone up on me.. This was one of the worst hotels stays in my life! My one year old and sister were bitten the worst by the bugs. I was bitten and suffered an allergic reaction. After explaining these things to the manager he made it clear he did not care and had no intentions on handling this situation appropriately. He didn't even take the time to ask my name.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned from this stay. This hotel was a very bad experience and the customer service was horrible

Review: The hotel offers the worst room to customers. Only when customers complain do they change the room. The room they offer is the last room in the basement. There is a leak in that part of the hallway, the hall carpet is wet, brown, moldy and stinky, there is old, broken furniture in the hallway and the room is just as disgusting and smelly. Everything smells musty and the end table next to the bed is missing the drawer. The paint in the corners is brown and cracking. When I was there the clerk claimed she "forgot" that that part of the hotel had a leak yet I read reviews that said other customers were offered that room as well (after I had stayed there). That room and that part of the hall should not be open for business. Why is the clerk trying to get people to stay in that room? Something's fishy about that. I feel that they think people are staying there just for trysts and maybe they can see by hidden camera what goes on in that room. The photos on the website are misleading. The photos look nice but the rooms are nothing like the photos. Additionally, the 'breakfast' room is too small, cramped and dirty. They throw the rolls in a glass cabinet like they are throwing food to zoo animals. This hotel should be shut down for cleaning, renovation and new management. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The mold is at a level that is potentially dangerous to a person's health.Desired Settlement: My fiance deserves a refund for the night's stay and the hotel should be shut down for repairs, renovation, cleaning and staff changes. I wrote a review on TripAdvisor as well.
