We had an amazing experience - they made moving houses with 2 little kids so much easier than we expected! They arrived on time, put down these special mats on all our floors and had the truck packed and unpacked in less time than the quote. Nothing was damaged and they even checked with me about where to put boxes I forgot to label. We're not moving again for a very long time but I'll definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Bill & Ben The Mighty Moving Men Inc is one of the most unprofessional companies I've seen. A phone call from the movers at 9:00 am to tell us that there was some unforeseen circumstances that our move was being delayed and he couldn't give us an estimate of when it would be ready, and that if I had any questions contact the manager [redacted]. I told the mover that we had security booked between 11 and 3 and he said there was nothing he could do but to contact [redacted] and sort it out. I tried calling all morning and couldn't even leave a message or get [redacted] to call back even when I texted the mover and he said he talked to [redacted] and she would get a hold of us.
I finally got a hold of [redacted] at 2 pm and told her about our security issues, she said she would call me right back and never did. Sometime after 3 pm the movers got a hold of me and said they were busy moving someone else and were ready. I told them I didn't have anymore security. All it would have taken was a phone call.

I hired Bill & Ben out of Calgary. I had them pick up my stuff Aug. 5, store it unitl Aug. 20 and then deliver it to Lethbridge.
I read the reviews here AFTER I hired them and they made me very nervous. I mentioned that to the dispatch.
My move did not go without hitches, but I expect hitches when moving. It is ranked as one of the most stressful things we do in life after all.
What I also expect and got from Bill & Ben The Mighty Moving Men is quick and polite resolution to hitches and concerns.
All of my belongings arrived at my new home in one piece and they came in under budget. That's a pretty impressive feat if you ask me.
Also, they aren't kidding about Mighty Men - one guy single-handedly lifted a truck onto his back that would give two office workers hernias! I was impressed with how gentley they handled my stuff and how quickly they off-loaded the truck.
Overall a very positive experience for me.

My experience with the moving men on the day of the move was excellent. They were friendly and knew what they were doing.

The follow up interaction from the administration (allegedly management) was discourteous and unprofessional, and dare I say, unethical.

The moving men left me with an invoice for a little less than $1500, however the management charged me for over $1,600. I raised this discrepancy with them, and they ignored it. I also raised the fact that certain items were missing--this was also ignored.

Initially the moving company had problems charging my card--the charges wouldn't go through on my credit card. I called them to resolve the issue, and sent emails that very day and to follow up. I dint hear from them until about 4 days later. For some reason, despite my good faith communication, management felt the need to threaten to send me to collection... not even a week had passed, and they had a hold on about $1500 on my card at the time.

The icing on the cake was the rude emails that management sent to me, which seemed to evidence a desire just to have the last word of the exchange.

In summary: (a) terribly rude management with lack of customer service skills, (b) charging for a higher amount than was on the invoice; (c) not addressing my concerns re. missing items.

The management at this company was worst, in my experience and I will never recommend them.
