This situation started, where the tenant, indicated that he was moving out by June of We sent a notification that occurred on March 20, Subsequent to that, on March 20, a confirmation was sent from McSherry, to him about the move out on June 30.After that, on May 4, he indicated that he was leaving June At that point, there was no indication that he was in fact leaving on June 17.After the move out, we did complete a walk-through, and found numerous items that need to be repairedAs of June 27, these items were identified and a deduct from security madeAfter that ** *** disputed the deductionsAs a courtesy, McSherry waived the security deduction portion of this account and made a refund.During subsequent conversations, the discussion has always rotating around this idea that ** *** has stated that a partial month payment is adequateDespite the lease being month-to-monthInitial lease started October 3, 2015, with an ending date of September 30, Rent is due on the first of each monthRenewal terms are automatic, month-to-month, on the firstAs such, the renewal term is effective from the first to the end of each month.Summary ** *** provided termination document on 3/20/17, indicating a termination of June of 2017, this served as a formal document for the termination of the lease.Joe V

I am rejecting this response because:
(1) The principal issue is the remaining rent from June 17 - June 30.  This was supposed to be paid back to the renter.  The lease did not specify that months started on the first of each calendar month, only that a one month notification was to be given prior to move-out, which was done.(2) The complaint about the JG McSherry has nothing to do with a security deposit.  The company was told about the issues with the apartment (including broken blinds) multiple times and did not address them.  JG McSherry has never previously brought up any issues with other damage; although there are pictures of a door and a bathtub, these were not in any prior communications, and are not caused by the renter.Regards,
