The company damaged furniture in my move and did not provide me with insurance claim paperwork even after multiple contact attempts.

Total Cost: $5,526.90
Insurance cost: $400
Layover Cost: $225
On March 3rd, 2020 my furniture was picked up by JG moving solutions at my old address.

Furniture was to be moved to Address in New York and was agreed to arrive on the 7th of march and wait overnight for us until the 8th of march. Truck did not arrive into town until late 2200 of the 8th. Company wanted to deliver the furniture however doing so would have put us in violation of local city noise ordinances. Presumably the company would have taken until 0300 in the morning to completely unload. This timetable can be acquired when it is considered that the company arrived on the 9th of March at 1000 and did not finish unloading until approximately 1530. The company charged us an extra day in layover for this and I deem this charge was entirely unnecessary and on the fault of the company.
Moreover, the company damaged multiple items of furniture. While I do not wish to pursue them for damages at this time, I do however wish to have my insurance claims paperwork furnished to me so that I may file claims for damages incurred on my possessions. I have made several attempts to contact JG Moving Solutions in order to acquire my insurance claim paperwork and have either been ignored or lied to in them saying they emailed me the paperwork when I have yet to receive it. It has been more than 30 days and I have yet to hear any response from them.
It should also be noted that I attempted to contact the insurance company that was provided on the companies website, Baker Insurance, and they have no information on any policies linked to me.
In order for me to find resolution with this, two items must be complied with. Item 1. The company must furnish me with my insurance claims paperwork and along with that, waive any time frame that the claim must be filed in that has been set by the company. They must send me the Insurance claim information to my email addresses: ither - ***@gmail.com or ***@gmail.com If they are unable to comply with this item, I demand that my $400 deposit for the insurance be refunded in full. Item 2. That the company refund me the 2nd night of layover. That 2nd night was due to their fault, not mine. Should these items be fulfilled, I will have my resolution.
Very professional. They ran late but kept me updated as regards to arrival time. When they loaded their truck they put leftover stuff in ours. It started out as a business relationship but by the time 5 hours or so later they were done we became family. Honest trustworthy hard working guys. Funny also
