Allentown mobile home community is horrible! We moved there just because it was a LAST resort. The management acts nice to you once you move in then they ignore you. I've sent emails and letters, I never got a response. I told them how every time the gate is broken because someone ran into it. I said they should put up a camera and make the person pay for destroying property. 90% of the small neighborhood is Mexicans. The 10% is other races. Residents let anyone in, getting out of their cars and punching in codes for people. I wasn't sure if they knew them or not but they still shouldn't do that. So much for the "gated community". They also drive around blaring their fiesta music. It was so loud that our home would shake from the bass. They even have signs up "no loud music" or even "$100 fine for loud music" these are even in Spanish. The kids there are horrible. They curse, make fun of you if you aren't like them (no matter your age) and they have no common sense. They run out in front of cars or play in the middle of the road. Allentown is NOT a safe place for kids. I would not let my cousin come over until we have moved from that place. I didn't want those wild brats calling him names or hurting him. No one stops at the stop signs. I have complained about this after almost being in several wreaks because the people coming from the side streets do NOT stop at the stop signs. You better be prepared to get all kinds of bugs. You may not have ever had roaches and you move in and everything is okay then after a few months here come roaches. I mean I had to kill about 20 a day, whether they were babies or almost adults. They were everywhere it's disgusting. We also had problems parking in our own are because most would have many parties and they would take up both sides of the street with cars. I also asked many times to use the club house but I was never able to use it but many many people were always having parties there too. Their "gym" is nothing. We went once and everything was broken. Not worth paying $25 for an entry card. There were shootings at a neighborhood down the street like every week and no one cared. People were breaking in cars at Allentown and all they did was leave a message saying that it was happening. They didn't say what they looked like or where they were trying to break in at. I'm just so happy we got to move away from that horrible place. It was not worth it. Living in a dumpster would have been cleaner and safer. I would NOT recommend anyone to move there. They ignore any complaints or worries you may have.
