We will break down his complaint into its component parts to decipher it and address each claim made by [redacted] separately.Claim 1: "Less than half my house was supplied"We supplied backup power to the ampere electrical loadcenter and existing power panel that [redacted] represented as his electrical service when we visited his home to give an estimate to replace his existing, non-working generatorWhether this constitutes "less than Half" is questionable, but unclear, since it was not evaluated a part of our proposalWe did not learn of another loadcenter in another separate basement on the opposite side of the house until [redacted] informed us of this fact during the second day of our installationFurther, we supplied detailed specifications and other literature regarding the generator that he ultimately selectedThe information provided clearly indicates that the Generac Synergy generator that he selected is mated to a specific ampere service rated automatic transfer switch that must be utilized in the installationClearly, his selection of this generator over the other options that we provided, and based upon his request for further information regarding this product, implies that he fully understood the application was limited to the ampere electrical loadcenter and the existing emergency power panel represented as his electrical serviceClaim2: "Nothing is working" We don't know what "nothing" refers toWhen we were at the job site on October **, 2015, the generator and automatic transfer switch we operationally tested in the presence of [redacted] The system was tested under load with both central air conditioning units in operationThe power management system( including the fan control relays discussed below in Claim 3) was operationally tested and performed as specified for this mated backup power systemClaim " The final breaking point..." To address this claim it is necessary to address the error and the misconception made in this statementFirst the error: [redacted] has no ampere circuit breakers in any loadcenter connected to the automatic transfer switchampere circuit breakers, while manufactured, are exceeding rare and unlikely to be utilized in a residential electrical distributionThe ampere fan control relays are connected to ampere circuit breakers which supply power to the fan coil unitsWe assume that this is a typographical error on his partIn any case, the circuit breaker in question is rated at amperes, not amperesSecond, the misconception: the crux of this argument is that the connection of a ampere control relay to a ampere circuit breaker is "dangerous"By this logic then, iit would be dangerous to connect a ampere rated wall switch or receptacle to a ampere circuit, or a or watt dimmer to a or ampere circuit, or a ampere rated wireless switch or dimmer to a or ampere circuit, etc., etcBy his logic thenevery room in his house is filled with these "dangerous" conditionsClearly, this reasoning is fallacious and out of touch with the reality and requirement for electrical installationsthe control relays are UL-listed, USA made, quality product that we have used in this application for several years without a single failureWe utilize these relays to control small electrical loads in conjunction with Generac's Power Management Modules because, unlike electromagnetic relays, their operation is silent and does not give rise to customers' concerns over vibrations, humming, or buzzing emanating loudly from the area housing their electrical panelsClaim 4: "When I contacted generac they said this should definitely be changed." There are two issues raised in this claimThe first concerns who he spoke to at Generac: Almost certainly a customer service representative with no technical experience took the callIt is highly unlikely that this person had any expertise to comment on the sufficiency of the installation But more importantly, Generac is the manufacturer and , as such, is not an authority on the requirement of the National Electrical Code as it related to the installation of their product in [redacted] 's homeThe requirements for electrical installations are govered by the National Electric Code as enforced by the local authorityInstallations done exactly like [redacted] 's have been inspected and certified for compliance with the National Electrical Code numerous times and in numerous jurisdictionsClaim 5: "It was then I considered his company dangerous" We consider this to be an utterly false, libelous statement based on misinformation and the misleading representations of fact made by [redacted] Conclusion: [redacted] 's complaint is based on misrepresentation of requirements related to the replacement of a generator and automatic transfer switch for his residenceThe underlying complaint is about paying his billCacoethes carpendiThese claims are an attempt to raise yet another bogus complaint in a continuing effort to find fault and avoid payment for service rendered
