This is 100% not true. The windshield was installed by our lead technician, who has over years experience installing windshields. The wipers were not put on backwards - that is actually physically impossible to do, and even if it were, I'm pretty sure a certified glass technician with
years of experience would notice if the wipers were put on backwards!!! What happened was that the customer somehow got a pebble / grain of sand / small piece of debris under her windshield wipers a few days after the installation. When she went to turn the wipers on, whatever it was that was caught on her windshield wiper caused the glass to scratch. We warranty our workmanship against leaks, loose mouldings, stress cracks, etc, but can not warranty stupidity or user error, which is what the scratch was caused by. We serve hundreds of satisfied customers every week. I am rejecting this response because: Sir, your lack of professionalism is again astoundingTo insinuate that a customer is stupid and trying to get something for nothing is outrageousYou should not be allowed to own a business or deal with the public in any fashionNo one has discounted your installers length of experienceSimply, a mistake was made during installation, the wipers were put back on wrong/backwards and they caused a scratch on the new windshieldWe tried to contact your business several times to rectify this and unfortunately, it is hard to get a hold of anyoneAfter leaving messages and calling almost daily, we were able to speak with someone. Your expert installer also left a leak in the windshield which was just recently fixedNo one is trying to get something for nothing as you so eloquently statedWe paid for the windshield to be installed properly with no defect! We are not asking for a refund of any sort, only that the scratch is fixed since it was caused by improper installationI would also greatly appreciate being treated as a paying customer and with respectYou called and rudely informed that "you had a death in the family, this better not be a waste of your time, etc." Maybe you should return calls when you are better equipped to act like a professional business owner and provide quality customer serviceAgain, we are simply asking that the windshield be fixed, free of the scratch caused by installationThank you

I ran this matter by our lead installer and our manager, both of whom are adamant that the customer is lying and, given her manic behavior, perhaps on drugs.  We have made every effor to deal with Janelle in a professional manner, but every time she called her calls are laced with profanity and are extremely unprofessional.  She has called our company no less than 20 times today, and has taken to trashing us on social media.  All over a pebble / piece of sand / gravel that got caught in her windshield wiper and caused the windshield to scratch. Again, we warranty our work but do not warranty against user error or stupidity.  I suggest this particular person seek professional help.Kind regards,Jiffy Auto Glass USA
