Revdex.com spoke with a representative from the company who stated that when the customer brought her vehicle in for service, there were several notations about issues that existed prior, including low oil prior to service, several indications of an oil leak as well as a coolant leak. The customer was...

informed of these issues. He stated that they have tried to reach out to the customer previously, but she had refused to speak to them. They stated that they performed the oil change on June 30, and that she had her car service by another mechanic on July 5. She then started having issues with the vehicle on July 7. The customer refused to communicate with the business when they reached out to her previously, and would not allow them to do an inspection of the vehicle. Jiffy Lube stated that it was not possible for them to have not put oil back in the car, as it would not have gone more than 50 miles before the engine blew up. Jiffy Lube stated that the customer started having the issues after she had it serviced by another mechanic.

Review: Went to Jiffy Lube on Williamsburg Rd on June 30, 2015 to receive a oil change within the next two days I was sitting on the side of the road because my car had shut down and wouldnt start come to find out they didnt put any oil in my car and since I took it to them the place where my oil goes have been smoking and my car keeps turning off.. I had got my mechanic to look at my car and he said it was due to them not putting oil in my car... I didnt have any problems with my car intil I took it to Jiffy Lube I tried to call to receive a refund but they wasnt cooperating with me... Since I took my car to them I have been having problems with it that I havent had before. They could have made my engine lock and I would have had to purchase a new car.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to pay for the problem to be fixed that they caused to my car or if I cant receive that just give me my money back.

Review: I went to Jiffy Lube #352 for just an oil change with a vehicle at 82,951 miles. The service rep showed me a cabin air filter that they said was from my vehicle that was dirty (contained mice feces and leaf debris). They also indicated the possible cause was parking routinely under trees. I was in disbelief and expressed my disbelief because the cabin air filter was replaced previously in my vehicle at 79,358 miles by the dealer ([redacted]). In addition, I park in a parking deck each day at work and do not park under trees at my home, in fact, there is only one tree on my entire property and none on my neighbor's property adjacent to my home. The service rep insisted it was my cabin air filter and it probably was not replaced previously. I am of the opinion that this Jiffy Lube location is deceptive in the service they are providing. If they did this to me, there is no telling how many others they have done this to. The cost of the cabin air filter was $49.99. That adds up over time.Desired Settlement: I strongly believe I did not need the cabin air filter replaced. I prefer a representative in upper management at Jiffy Lube contact me and discuss this practice, arrange a refund for the cost of the cabin air filter along with an apology for the deceptive practice. That location should be put on notice for their actions.
