To Whom It May Concern:The customer's concern with their vehicle was that it was running rough and stalling at stopsOurtechnician verified the concern and found a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) that indicated an issue withthe Exhaust Camshaft Position System PerformanceThe diagnostic procedure for this DTC states thatengine oil condition and/or low engine oil level may be the cause and an oil change may be required.The vehicle did have a low engine oil level, so we recommended an oil changeThe customer declinedthe oil changeThe customer then questioned whether the diagnostic charge could be covered bywarranty.We agreed to release the vehicle to the customer without processing payment for the diagnostic charge,pending a warranty review by our service managerOur service manager later agreed that thediagnostic charge was not covered by warranty.We apologized for the misunderstanding regarding processing the payment for the diagnostic chargeAcredit af $was issued to their debit card on 8/17/On 8/18/we agreed to reduce the finalbill to $to cover their $overdraft feeThe customer paid cash and the issue was resolved on8/18/2017.Sincerely,Andrew [redacted] VP-Business Manager
