Jim Bryans Tree Trimming And Removal Llc. Reviews (3)

I have received the letter of complaint. This is my response to that complaint.
I trimmed all three (3) trees, which the customer had requested me to do. The trimming of the
two out front and topping the tree in back of house. I am a license Arborist. I know what is
best for the...

tree. The homeowner didn’t contact me until six (6) months later asking me to
come back and take more limbs out of the tree. I went to his house to look at the tree and
noticed that during those six months, new suckers (limbs) grew. Which is normal for a big tree
thinned out. Normally, we will fix any unsatisfactory issues within a reasonable time period.
Other than that, a fee would apply. I was willing to go back to do this work for free, but during
a slow time for my business. This apparently wasn’t quick enough for him.
Furthermore, I did show up in my wife’s vehicle the second time to look at the tree, which has
been a year later. I do not like to be called a liar. When I looked at the tree again, I noticed
there was new growth during this year time period.
I also informed the customer that his tree should be removed from the front of the property,
but he told me his friend was removing the tree. Not a contractor.
In regards to the $750.00 restitution, as I mentioned earlier, we were going to do this job for
free. Apparently this customer can’t be satisfied.
I will contact the customer during our slow season if he wants to proceed with trimming this
tree. With a small fee.
Also, this is our first complaint in 13 years of business. I guess that’s not a bad track record.
You, can’t satisfy everyone.

[redacted].......I read the response that [redacted] gave to you, it's sad to think that a businessman would just keep lying to get out of work ! His response that I did not contact him until 6 months after the work was completed is totally bogus ! I called the very next day after the services were performed and told him I was not happy ! He even told me to mark the big limb that he missed on the front tree, so I wrapped duck tape around it, this duck tape stayed on that limb until it got so weathered it fell off. Mr [redacted] told me it would only take a couple hours to finish my job and here it is a year later with no effort on his behalf to finish the job. His comment on not having any complaints in 13 yrs is also false ! I have learned by more than a few people since my botched job that he isn't well recommended, and I have steered a few good paying jobs away from this man since this experience. I have learned a lot over this misfortunate experience with trusting a contractor to do what he was payed for ! All I want is for the job to be finished in a timely manner from this point or I will be taking this to a magistrates office for monetary repercussion. This has just turned into a quest for me for to see mr [redacted] have to wright his wrong doing ! Maybe I can make him think twice about doing this to someone else in the future.

Review: I contracted this buisness to do 3 trees on my property that included topping and trimming maple trees for the sum of $1500 cash. due to my work schedual I paid in full before job was completed. Upon returning home , I noticed only half the work we talked and agred upon was completed. I phoned mr [redacted] and he said he had to leave while the job was being done and he was upset they didnt do what we had agreed on . He asured me they would come back and complete the job. I kept in contact on a regualer basis with him when he was failing to show up when he said he would come to finish the job.It is now a year later and he has given me every excuse in the book to not complete the job. I also decided to remove one of the trees he trimmed at my property and paid an aditional $300 to a differant contractor. This means all he has to do to satisfy me is work on the two trees. He is starting to act as if he is doing me favor by saying he will come 'sometime' and make me happy, but he never shows up to do the work ! We did have an appointment to meet at my house which required me to miss work for an hour and he never came ...then lied about being there when I called him, what he didnt know was I actually stayed arond a lot longer than I said to see what his EXCUSE was ! I would like $750 restitution or for him to simply come back and finsh his job.Desired Settlement: $750 OR FOR THE JOB TO BE COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION.
