Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2016/01/06) */ To who it may concernMy name is [redacted] GM with Jim Butler Fiat as far as the the truck they had it for over days and we did all kinds of repairs to the truck we didn't even get the truck funded with our bank because they would not take the interview with the bank so it would fund the reason they had trouble with truck is because he was pulling a heavy trailer with the truck I have no problem with giving them their money back after I inspect the truck for damages her husband has done to the unit for he used it as a work truck and after I do that I will return his money Thank you [redacted]

We have taken care of all repairs and have not charged the customer a single dollarI was not responsible for taking care of the repairs however we did it out of good faith

Mr. [redacted] bought an AS IS vehicle. All documented and signed off by Mr. [redacted]. We were unaware of any issue with the vehicle when sold. Apparently Ford is aware of this type of issue. Does not affect performance of vehicle. It's a loaded F150 with 75k miles sold at $5k less than market value....

General Manager at store was trying to work with Mr.Leary but Mr. [redacted] pulled out the "I'm getting my lawyer to sue you card". We have a policy in our group that we will defend ourselves in court instead of being extortion. We did nothing wrong. Tried to be nice, but could not. Instead Mr. [redacted] has decided to bash my company's name every where he can. It's a free country, I look forward to my day in court.  I will attach all emails and signed Documents next week so the world can see the true story. We are truly sorry that mr. [redacted] felt that threats were the best way to handle it. Again, we did nothing wrong, he got a maxed out super Truck at a stupid low price. There was no issue with the truck when we delivered the truck, it is all documented. we are a great company with a great team. We will not agree to compensate mr. [redacted] for anything.

Revdex.com,   Thank you for your quick action and attempt to help with this issue.  I was surprised to read the defiant and unprofessional response from [redacted] who owns the dealership.  After reading his response it lit a fire in me to investigate this matter even more. I looked at the title and realized the previous owner’s name and business were listed.  I then Googled his name and company.  That brought me to a phone number which I hoped was his cell.  It was his cell because he replied to the attached text messages.  Not only did he reply but he confirmed that the $3,000 defect/loose timing chain was present when he owned the truck and that’s the reason he turned it in.  That admission proves that the truck had the noise/defect the entire 4-5 months while at Jim Butler.   [redacted] clearly says they knew of now issue and delivered with no issues. I believe this is fraud because they did not disclose the true condition of the truck. It was sold to me under false pretense.  I would have never paid $26,500 knowing it needed a $3,000 repair.   I’m asking you to please help.  These new texts have to be very influential.  [redacted] will not even communicate with me and only says to sue him. Can this be “reopened” and sent back to the dealership?  The public should be aware of this deceit and defiance.  Thank you.     [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,  Please see the attached file that shows clearly that Mr. [redacted] bought the vehicle AS IS.  No amount of bad reviews on social media sites, including companies that are not Jim Butler FIAT, will change that fact.  It is what it is.  The "issue" that Mr. [redacted] continues to discuss is a known problem that has a technical bulletin out by the Manufacturer, FORD and is not Jim Butler FIAT or [redacted].  This issue while it appears to be an irritant to Mr. [redacted] is not an issue that impairs the vehicle or renders it useless.  We will not be held hostage by Mr. [redacted] because of a perceived issues.  It is clear that me, nor my team at Jim Butler FIAT, knew or had any previous knowledge of this issue.  We have a clear sign off from the auction house and a clean AutoCheck that does not show any issues.  We have not done anything wrong nor have we harmed Mr. [redacted] in any way.  However, Mr. [redacted] continues to communicate to TV stations, Social Media and review sites about how I personally and my company have purposefully harmed him.  I have never spoken to Mr. [redacted] except through email stating that if he wants to get a Lawyer involved, I would be the individual his Lawyer should speak with.  That is my only involvement in this case and it will be the only involvement in this case.  If Mr. [redacted] decides that legal action is necessary, we are prepared and feel as if we have done nothing wrong.   I am sorry that Mr. [redacted]'s 75,000 plus mile FORD pick up truck has a rattle for a few seconds on the timing chain and the FORD has made a decision to not repair that rattle due to the inconsiquential impact of such rattle.  While the previous owner of the truck says that he traded it in because of such rattle, it is clear that he did not disclose this nor the auction disclose this to us either.  Perhaps you have a case against the previous owner for fraud. We buy thousands of vehicles from auctions all over the country. Loaded or not, it is not surprising.   While the written statement from individuals Mr. [redacted] has contacted sounded as if Mr. [redacted] is claiming that I have been abusive or unfair in my dealings with him even though I have never, ever spoken to Mr. [redacted] in person or on the phone. My involvement is clearly technical and as the owner of the company I ensure all, if any, complaints are handled when a customer brings legal action.  This is a clear case of someone buying a vehicle AS IS and using a fairly small item as a reason we have done him harm.  With the damage done by Mr. [redacted] by accusing me personally and of my company and the clear facts of this issue that Revdex.com close out the case.   Thank you
