Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
1- NRG sent us 3- Roofer to check out the leakThe first roofer said “ LEAK IS SOLAR RELATED UNFLASHED HOLES FROM THE INSTALLATION” see attachment document that signed by the roofer The second one can’t figure out what is going on "BECAUSE WE HAVE TOO MANY UNFLASHED HOLES AND NEED TO TAKE ALL PANELS AWAY AND CHECK UNDER EACH BRACKET AND IT'S HARD TO DO THAT" , Then he advised to wait until we have rain and mark the place that has a leakHe did not say it is not solar related issue, even he could not find from where the leak come from. Finally, they sent the third roofer on 10/26/not 10/24/They were two men work with a person called CarlosThese men told us that it is a solar related issue and they took pictures for the ceiling "Inside" of the roofOn Sunday 10/29/2017, we had a heavy rain, and we made marks in the ceiling of the roof and took picturesWe sent theses pictures to Venita (NRG representative)This is was her answer" Please submit -estimates to repair the hole in the roof. Once I received the quotes, we will contact you and a check will be made to you directly to pay the contractor." Suddenly, an about an hour later, we got this email from her said "I followed up with Carlos from ***, the roof leaks Photos you submitted are not solar related per our service provider. We are not disagreeing you may have roof leaks, but the only leak identified as being solar related has been addressedSo your statement below is in conflict with the findings of our service provider ***." On other hand, the pictures that we took were the same pictures that Carlos's co-workers took on 10/26/except one new picture that has a new water mark from heavy rain see attachment documentMy question is how Carlos decided from the pictures that the leak is not solar cell related with out seeing it At the same time, his co-workers said it is solar cell related issueThis does not make any sense to me. 2- Also, our roof is about 5- Years oldwe have an inspection officially said that roof in a good condition with no problemI can provide the full report if need it. In addition, the NRG sale person told us, they install their panels over the new and good roofs only because they do not want to waste their moneyTherefore, NRG inspected and took pictures of our roof before installing the solar panel and they said the roof in a good condition, and they can install the solar panel over itAll the sudden, after insulation, we found yellow spot in our ceiling, broken plywood and water marks on all over the roof ceiling see attachment documentFurthermore, as we get heavy rain, we see more water marks and more problemsHow come this is not from solar panel insulation. 3-furthermore, they cut off the Sheetrock under the electrical panel and they did not fix the wall as like before see attachment
