parts are warranted by the manufactuer for months, this is because no one knows how the vehicle is being driven or what types of abuse it may sustain due to road conditions or driving habitsas for leaking brake lines, they were not leaking at the time the car was being serviced, I an sure the customer would not want to pay for parts we change just in case they may break soonwe discounted the repair in October to try to help the customer in this unfortunate situation, however she became very deligerant and used insulting language

In response to the complaint that was reported, this car, as all motor vehicles older than 6 model years, was purchased 'As Is' and with no warranty from the selling dealer. The check engine light did come on for a code relating to the mass air flow sensor shortly after the vehicle was purchased. We...

replaced the mass air flow sensor at no cost to the customer despite the 'As Is' sale. The vehicle was then stolen and driven off the road resulting in damage to the front bumper cover, undercarriage, oil pan (cracked and replaced) and there very well may be collateral damage that could not be detected including the catalytic converter that we also replaced at no cost to the customer. The vehicle was finally given to us on a Friday afternoon and left with us for a few days. We were not allotted enough time on the friday it was dropped off to start diagnosis because our technicians only work until 4:30pm. The next day (Saturday) is only a half day with our technicians operating from 8:00-12:00. Sunday we are closed and could not do any work to the vehicle. When Monday came, the customer called us and decided to get extremely vulgar and disrespectful on the phone with our service advisor. I will not repeat what was said because it would not be appropriate for it to be displayed online. Customer is claiming that we lied to him and didn't touch his car for 4 days, but in actuality it was really only 2 full days. We do our best to accommodate our customers and try to go above and beyond what the laws require. Even though this vehicle was purchased 'As Is', we still performed several repairs. This is all that we will be able to do without charging our normal service charges going forward. Sincerely,Bill M[redacted]
