after signing a contract with his person I had second thoughts because the price was not right I found someone else to do the work called mr. murphy to cancel the job he sent his men that very day while I was at work and did a terrible job on my yard and I paid double what the other guy would have charged me
I have a signed contract from this consumer. I completed the job in two days. She called after the job was completed to cancel the contract. In a good faith effort, I returned $400 to the consumer.
's crew built a retaining wall for us, which separated after a year. *** avoided our calls, and when I finally tracked him down he was livid, said he would only repair it for several thousand more dollars, and stated that "big shots" could pay for the same service again, and did not warrant being satisfied with the work for which they had paid dearly.
Do NOT trust him to do the promised work well.
I would like to dispute the complaint filed against me and my company by ***d dated June 22, 2018.
This complaint is totally not what happened and needs to be removed immediately. We were hired to do a retaining wall for Mr. and Mrs. in 2010. The wall had been built for quite some time. Three to four years later they had called and said there was a slight bow on a couple of blocks and the base of the wall. It had to be built that way because we put the wall along the edge of Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald’s property and the lip of the front of the block was on the concrete driveway just a tad bit leaving a small gap in the blocks, more at the bottom. We had only enough room to stack the blocks because we didn’t have the room or we would have been on the neighbor’s property, which butted right up the back of the blocks.
In the Fitzgerald’s statement that was sent to you dated 2018, they said I was livid and upset. This is not true at all. She also said she could not find me. I have been in business for 37 years and my office location has been the same for the past 3 years at ***. My mailing address is ***.
In the Fitzgerald’s complaint, they said I would only return if I was paid more money and made negative remarks about them. This is completely false. I feel personally that after the job was completed, they were satisfied for several years and they knew the situation I had to work with. They both were very happy for a long time regarding the job that was done. After 8 years, I feel these comments could ruin my business. There are two sides to every story, and these complaints against us are completely false.
