Date: Wed, Oct 18, at 3:PMSubject: FW: sidewalk bubbles cracking, ready for re-paintTo: D***@myRevdex.com.orgCc: JimMurrayandCo@***.comHello ***, Hope you are having a good day! Thank you for return call and providing me with your email address. This is my response to the
letter I received from you on 10/10/ID of ***. In brief - the job in question was to remove old concrete paint from a walk way and large stairway to the second floor, and was competed on 4/21/I received a call from the customer last June about surface bubblingI met the customer on a dry day in July and after minutes of running the hose over the area along with scraping the surface with a paint scraper I could not find a problemThe customer then told me it happens during all day soaking rains, and seemed angry I was not willing to somehow remove the coating and itI asked customer to send pictures, or even scrape bubbles with a shovel during separation. The email I am forwarding from Tuesday 9/12/states the bubbles have now crackedI called the following Thursday 9/16/and mentioned I was super busy through the end of the month, but could tentatively schedule Thursday 9/and Friday 9/29, but that I would call to confirm otherwise it would be laterThe end of the month came, job scope changed, and we still had a week of work to do which brings us to the week of 10/and it rained most days last week. I know this was warranty work, but I did not feel it was urgentThat was my mistake. Below is my response to the customer this past Saturday, Please know I am still willing to do the re-paint, and that it has been nowhere near a year since this problem occurred, but less than a month from the 9/12/email “concrete is cracked” I will forward the next email. Sincerely, Jim Murray From: *** [mailto***@*.com] Sent: Tuesday, September 12, 7:PMTo: JimMurrayandCo@***.comSubject: sidewalk bubbles cracking, ready for re-paint Hello Jim, Three of the front sidewalk panels have now started to crack (bubbles have popped and cracked) here at *** *** ***, SterlingNow that the bubbles have popped and are cracking it can be peeled back to prep for your re-paintThree out of the five panels have cracks in them, but we think each panel is connected, so you could peel off the paint from the cracked panels and it would carry over to the other panelsThen it would be ready for the re-painting/sealing of them all once again. Please give us a good work date as soon as possible for getting this job completedWe think you and us, both, will be so happy to get this job done and out of all of our hair! Thank you,*** & *** ***
