[redacted] left his car with a list, check brakes, altertor light and running hot we went to bring the car in, turned key and the engine made a clunking noisebattery and starter,okmanually the engine would not turn over, no coolant in radiatorcalled [redacted] , told him what we foundwe continued to check further into itwe found coolant in the engine cylinderit was hydro locking you cannot compress coolant, it will lock updrained coolant, engine started to smoke out of exhaust.tolld [redacted] it was either a cracked head or a bad head gasketif he wanted us to proceed I would need some money up front because it was not going to be a minor repairI also said he might be able to drive the car home because there was no coolant in the engine for it to lock uphe said he would stop by after work to pay me for the 2hr(189.30) the bill is for diagnostic workafter we closed he took the car and has not come back

** *** is not saying even before he left the car at my shop he called and said the car was having issues (there fore not running fine) and wasn,t sure it would make ithe did leave the car telling *** a list of things he wanted checked, one of them-running hotas I said before the car would not start and we proceeded to find out whyfound water in the cylinderI called him and told him what we foundhe said how could this happenI said you must have run it hot and he said it was hot but not that hot * ***
