I read the used car purchase complaint, on that note most used dealers require all repairs after purchase to be car buyers responsibility, standard procedure reallyBut I had on going check engine light issues, and vehicle started running really badAfter letting *** *** and *** work on my vehicle, I ended up at Jimwood auto who fixed my vehicleNotice between me & my father, we have vehicles parked with check engine lights on because Dodge dealers, ford dealers, ***, *** ***, etc all know how to change parts, read diagnosis reports, but not how to fix a carThey don't understand what the parts do*** actually flushed my coolant system without permission causing it to leak, and this system has nothing to do with the emmissions an check engine lightJim was the 1st in vehicles to actually fix my vehicle! *** actually didn't cross the diagnostic report with recent TSB's (technical Service Bulletins), that stated if you get certain diagnostic codes, don't fix what diagnostic recomends, and they give you a list of modified parts and new fixes, updated fixesGREAT PLACE

Notice between me & my father, we have 5 vehicles parked with check engine lights on because Dodge dealers, ford dealers, [redacted], [redacted], etc all know how to change parts, read diagnosis reports, but not how to fix a car. They don't understand what the parts do. [redacted] actually flushed my coolant system without permission causing it to leak, and this system has nothing to do with the emmissions an check engine light. Jim was the 1st in 6 vehicles to actually fix my vehicle! THEY CLAIM ON THE FIRST VISIT OF ME BRINGING THE VECHICLE THERE AFTER FOUR DAY'S OF JUST PURCHASING THIS VECHICLE THAT THE ISSUES'S WHERE GOING TO BE REPAIRED. WHAT EVER WAS DONE TO THIS VECHICLE WHEN I BOUGHT IT THERE THEY DID NOT REPAIR THE VECHICLE. THE ISSUES STILL EXIST. NOW I'VE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH SO I TOOK THE VECHICLE TO MENIEKE IN NORWICH CT AND HAD THE CAR DIAGNOSED THE REPORT THAT WAS ISSUED TO ME FROM MENIEKE STATES THAT THIS VECHICLE HAS A REAR HEAD GASKET ISSUE NOW WHEN I PRESENTED THE REPORT FROM MENIEKE TO THE BUSINESS IN QUESTION THEY STATED AND I (QUOTE) WHAT DOSE THAT MEAN? WHEN ASKED TO GET MY MONEY BACK HE STATED TO ME THAT HE COULD REPAIR IT FOR MORE MONEY. NOW I HAVE BEEN THERE FOUR TIMES ALREADY WITH THE SAME ISSUES GOING ON WITH THE VECHICLE SO THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE VECHICLE WAS SOLD TO ME WITH MECHANICAL DEFECTS SO NOW I LOST OUT ON MY MONEY AND I DON'T HAVE A VECHICLE. NOW WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE THEY RUNNING HERE
