Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] From my firsthand experience, in my opinion Ms [redacted] is a liar, and a bitter, spiteful woman I have since been to two reputable auto upholsterers, a different one Kearny Mesa and one on El Cajon Blvd., that were both far and away more professional and I expect more competent and we will chose one of them to do the repair work her business was not competent to even attempt Ms [redacted] 's only truthful statement is that her business can do nothing She has no need to worry about me coming onto Jim's Auto Upholstery because she and her business are not worth the time of day and, except for preserving my self-respect, not worth the effort it takes to type out this response

I had no resolution for himNever charged him anything or did anything for himI do not want him on our property againHe is a mean and bitter manPERIOD ! I just paid my dues to Revdex.com for the year to keep people like him from doing things like thisThese kind of people need to be stoppedMost people 0/are greatBut you always have the one that you need to walk away from [redacted]

The man called to set up a day to bring in his carHe did drop it off the night before and I was already goneWhen I got to work the next day I seen his car, called him and told him I do not and can not get the same cloth that he has on his seatWhen he made the appointment I took it that it was
a leather seat He said do not touch his car he will pick it upI do not know how many times I said I'm so sorryI told him to check at the parts department at the dealer to see if he can order a coverBut his car is a so I do not think so, but check you never knowWhen he got his car he was so rude to me and another customer that was waiting for meHe is not a nice manI really hope he never comes backWe do not need people like that around.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Ms***'s version is incorrect and a blatant attempt to falsify what happened No1: I brought our vehicle in for an estimate a little over one week before dropping it off for repair Her employee visually inspected the vehicle and gave an estimate and did not mention the repair couldn't be done or the material would not look the same If she cannot manage her employees or the business's repair estimate procedures, she is wrong to shift the blame to customers Her claim that she believed the vehicle had leather seats isn't credible because I informed her of the make and model when I made the repair appointment and a knowledgeable professional should have known the model version doesn't come with leather, or at least asked me, the owner, or her employee No2: the "other customer" she claims I was rude to was in fact a tow truck driver whose truck was blocking the only entrance/exit driveway of the business, preventing me from leaving with my vehicle I asked whether the truck was his and when he was going to move it because I had gone to get the vehicle during my lunch from my workHad I not, I would not have been able to get there to pick it up before the business closed for the weekend I was not rude to the man, I was directNo3: I found out afterward from a dealer parts department that indeed a replacement cover can be purchased Our vehicle is years old and a knowledgeable professional would know whether the manufacturer stopped making seat covers or would at least pick up the phone and call, as I did No4: I told Ms*** on the phone I was not happy that the business would not live up to their repair promise and therefore not to do any work and I would pick it up I told her had the business told me it could not make the promised repairs when I came in for an estimate I would not have wasted my and my wife's time and gas for NOTHING I was not happy and more so when I arrived and her attitude toward me was very unprofessional and cavalier I was direct toward her, not rude or profane, but I told her how I felt In the aftermath it appears as though she faces disappointed customers often and has become overly sensitive to deserved criticism Honestly, the business must rely on government contracts or something to stay in business I suspect there are better, more deserving auto upholsterers in the area and I would STRONGLY recommend people steer clear of this operation I would not allow Jim's Auto Upholstery to work on my vehicle, even for free, and I would instead look for a trustworthy business
