Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/02/03) */ We truly sympathize with Mr [redacted] His vehicle had a locked up motor and had over heatedHe purchased this vehicle from his boss one week before his breakdown.From the beginning, Mr [redacted] stated he was short on funds, yet needed to have the vehicle back as soon as possibleHe also stated he could not work without the truckThe Company in Texas he purchased the rebuilt motor from had strict rules on what needed to be working properly in order for Mr [redacted] to receive there year, 100,thousand mile warrantyWe have a copy of there requirements on the cooling system, fuel system and the electrical systemWe have all receipt's of the parts and fluids we installed on Mr [redacted] vehicleWe also have a signed invoice of his final payment to us in which he acknowledges our conclusions on his repairs were correctWe bent over backwards to help this gentlemenFor instance; hours of diagnosis and repairs at no charge(pulling the throttle body off-timespulling the intake off-timesTracking down electrical problems not associated with an engine replacemntWe gave him his parts at 10% over cost plus tax instead of 50% over cost plus tax(full list price).We had compassion for his plight and tried to help him in numerous waysOn Monday, February 1st, I informed Mr [redacted] that we had worked on his truck all of Friday and half of day Thursday at no chargeI informed Mr [redacted] at that time that we could no longer give him free labor, and would have to charge him from here on, that the problems we were facing were beyond a engine replacementThat is when Mr [redacted] became angry and said he wanted to take the vehicleI tried extremely hard to convince him otherwise, because he would then lose his warranty from the Texas Company he purchased the motor fromHe asked would I lie to them and I told him that was not going to happenAll he needed at that point was a power control module(PCM-main brain).,used for $Bob Moore Ford just called our businessMr [redacted] has taken the truck to them, the technician stated Mr [redacted] would not tell them what had been done to vehicleWe wish Mr [redacted] the best, and hope that his issues can be solved quickly so he can get back to workAny documents you need from me, please ask, also any receipt's, invoices, etcI will be glad to assist youThank you, [redacted]
