In reference with ID [redacted] Mrs [redacted] sent me a text informing me the white limestone rock cracked on one exterior wall I told her I would send my rock mason over to the house and repair the crack as soon as I got able to take a firsthand look at the problemShe had also stated she wanted the crown moulding to be caulkedMrs [redacted] had her own painter finish interior of house, but I will also send my painter to re-caulk mouldingAfter talking to Mrs [redacted] I had told her I have been sick with the flu and then pneumoniaIt took weeks for me to get well and start working againMrs [redacted] had her lawyer call me and I explained the situation and said I would repair the exterior wall and caulk crown mouldingI told her attorney we would get the repairs finished before the end of May.In addition, Prosperity Bank did the construction loan for the ***'s and before any funds were paid the Bank sent a Bank representative to take pictures and inspect the work before any funds were released.I have been building homes for years and I have never had any problems with my clients complaining about poor or inferior constructionI have built between 1300-houses in my years in construction industry for all government programs (VA, FHA and USDA) and they were all inspected by Licensed Inspectors.The building business is a hard and challenging profession, but I have always made every effort to make a client happyI have been a customer of Revdex.com for many years as well as President of the Victoria Builder's Association for terms and on the local board for years.Thank youDavid Hurst Construction

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] *** I am excited to have a response from you We have been waiting for a response for two years It would be as much of a waist of my time to correct your recollection the facts as it was a waist of your time in mis-representing the facts in your response I won't botherThe truth is you told me that you had DuWest out of Corpus Christi had been out to inspect our home and stated that they would return no later than August to make repairs The agreement was that after you had DuWest repair the foundation, your company would repair the resulting damage to the structure That was two years ago We have made multiple phone calls and text to reach out to you with no responseI did hire a Structural Engineer out of San Antonio that confirmed that the front porch slab failed This is clearly a failure on your part of the contractor and your responsibility to correct We have made you aware of this from the 1st summer after being built Besides the window issue and the front porch failure, you do builda good home and we are satisfied But the truth is, Buyer beware - he is very available when asking for money and promises are never kept after he has receivedhis final payment Do you honestly think anyone is going to believe that we dropped the ball on a home that we spent our life savings on? I thought you told mewe were friends[redacted] ***
