Mr Preschers' change of heart shocks me with his previous foul conversations I have been the recipient of!! IF he is willing to send me the name of a reputable dry wall specialist/ painter to repair the damage, I will gladly check out their references and allow an approved and qualified specialist into my home to make this damage right, at Mr Preschers' expenseThis ordeal has lagged on entirely too long with Mr Preschers' not answering phone calls, not showing up for scheduled appointments and denying the damage his company createdProvided he is genuine in his intent to take responsibility and make right all this damage, I am willing to except, as stated, a qualified and approved specialist who works in this areaI believe this should be his last opportunityHe has had ample time to make this rightI am ready for my home to be back in order, (free of damage his poor roofing created)!

To Whom It May Concern - The roof in question was done by our roofing company for a builder named Michael Hughes - The warranty to the builder is for years - Within the last years, there has been a tornado, multiple hail storms and wind storms in this area. Even a two year warranty
does not warranty against acts of Mother Nature, nor is Jimmy Prescher's Roofing, Incresponsible for the framing of the chimney that was done by the builder. We have NEVER received a message from this customer or spoke to him before the complaint about any problems - Jimmy Prescher has gone out and looked at the issue and discuss the options with the homeowner - It is our understanding that the homeowner wants a bid on the repairs and we will go from there. We are more than happy to help the customer now that the issue has been brought to our attention. We will keep the charges at a minimum in hopes to be a win/win for us all

The ***s called three times within less than a hour time frame - 11/10/- 8:01AM, 1`1/10/6:29PM and 11/11/at 7:03AM - All three times Mrs*** left a message on our Company's voice mail - unfortunately, the messages were checked before 8AM on 11/10/and then not again until 8AM on
11/11/and we did not get the three messages until all at one time at 8AM On 11/11/- at that time we placed a call to the ***s. We ere advised by Mr*** that they have a skylight that has a crack in it - this skylight is above their master bathroom. Jimmy Prescher's Roofing, Inc., replaced theirs roof in September of 2013, however we were not contracted to replace the skylight NOR were we paid to replace the skylight. Secondly, Mrs*** advised that several months back they noticed a leak, at that time her husband, Mr*** got up on the roof and caulked the roof. They NEVER called us. The warranty is voided at anytime that anyone other than an employee from Jimmy Prescher's Roofing, Incdoes anything to the roof. The ***s advised that the roof leaked again, rather than call us after her husbands repair, they called their insurance. The insurance company denied the claim. At this point, they are calling us to come out - We have agreed to go out tomorrow - Thursday and look at the roof, however, if there were any repairs done by Mr*** or any one else that have changed the roof integrity, we will not be able to warranty the roof. If the leak is coming from the cracked skylight, that we were NOT contracted to replace and did NOT replace, we will NOT be able to stop the leak

The Sheetrock Company that we use is *** *** contact *** *** *** and the Painter that we use is *** *** contact *** *** ***. I will have *** call to set up a time for the repair - Once that is done you the painter can set up a time as well

We cannot accept the sheet rock company you recommended because of a bad complaint, also with the Revdex.com! I also called the painter you sent us only to get a generic voice mail, not a business phone! He did return the call within the hour, there was somewhat of a language barrierI inquired about his place of business, he stated he is a 'little' business and doesn't have an office or phone other than the one I called When I asked if he has references he could give me, he did not understand what a reference was, even asking me a total of three times what I was asking for! Had the company numbers you sent to us been reputable businesses, insured and with good references, we would be more than happy to accept them into our homeThis is not the case All I asked, even from the beginning, is for reputable companies be supplied, these two are not!

Never, ever in my years of living have I threatened to shoot anyone, had thoughts of shooting anyone OR had anyone say I threatened to shoot them!! This is a complete lie! The ONLY person who has given any threats in this situation is MrPreschersHe has been unreasonable and totally out of control in his verbal abuseHis lack of accepting responsibility for a poor job his own crewmen did, as mentioned before, was in a location smaller than a 3'x3' area, a relatively inexpensive fix for him (he told me it cost him $100), but major damage for us, the longer he took to make a genuine repairBecause of this bad roofing, our house has leaked even past his so called repairs that he guaranteed would not leak again, causing extensive damageSince his repair continued to leak after his repairs, with the next rain, only he is the reason we have damageThe damage IS located precisely in the area his crew roofed. I called friends in Burleson to inquire if they had heard of Mr Preschers reputation and our situation is NOT uncommon! From the other complaints I have viewed, it must be remodels Mr Preschers has difficulty roofing without leaks. It has become evident Mr Preschers never intended to resolve any issue, even though he created itThis has gone on for months now and only when we filed a complaint with the Revdex.com did we get returned calls and responses, albeit extremely negative, verbally abusive and threatening. We have had reputable roofing companies and insurance adjusters on our roof to dateThey ALL state the same issue, they are the professionalsMr Preschers threats we have taken seriously!

Jimmy Prescher's Roofing, INcwas NOT contracted to replace the customers complete roof - We work for *** *** and he hired us to roof an add on he did at this customers house- The leak the customer is experiencing is not from the area that we roofed. There is nothing wrong with the
workmanship of the area that we roofed. We do not know who roofed the original house nor who warranties it. In an attempt, good faith effort to help the customer, we went out of our way to repair an area that we did roof nor cause a leak from and at the time DID NOT even charge them. They are not experiencing a leak at this point, so I am not sure why they are sending in a complaint. The roof is repaired, even the area that we were NOT responsible for Regards, Jimmy PrescherJimmy Prescher's Roofing, Inc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10947612, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I do wish to respond to the initial response made by the business *** with Jimmy Preshcer's Roofing was the man tripped for the inspection job to ascertain the cause of the leak in the master bath and to be certain the roof was not in jeopardyPer Jerry the calking used by my husband to seal the crack in the sky light- which was not cracked until the initial roof replacement which we repaired rather than call the company back out as we had signed off on the job and could not be certain the crew had damaged - was in need of replacementWe also repaired as numerous claims flag our insurance Jerry offered to repair I declined as this was not a part of the original work order Our insurance company is tripping an appraiser and we will deal with this issue Apparently Jimmy Preshcer's roofing outsourced the job to a sub contractorPerhaps this was the reason for the delay in returning my callsHowever as made clear by the initial response to the complaint a call was made after pm which should have and could have generated a call back Had the customer service been responsive to the needs of the business I would have never felt the need to complain to the Revdex.com My experience, past and present , is to get a response from this company one must be rude or have the backing of an insurance companyOr the Revdex.com The contractor who made the trip today, Jerry, was pro active and informative He politely answered my questions, spoke to my husband on the phone, and seemed genuine when offering to calk the skylight Let me state again no work was done to repair this leak by Jerry Prescher's Roofing Based on this trip and this man the company fulfilled the obligation on this leak. While I find interesting the fact that Jerry Prescher's Roofing presumes to have information on the status of claims made by our household regarding our domicile to our private insurance, I can assure all involved that a claim for repair has never been rejected by our insurance companyWe personally have pulled a claim for skylight repair as my husband can repair this himself This was simply a matter of controlling an underwriting issue to insure our policy was never in jeopardy of cancellation due to excessive claims The reason I called the roofing company is simple - this is the second leak in years behind a brand new roofThe first leak was around the chimneyPer the man tripped for the job the seal had broken around the chimney , creating drainage of rain which pooled and leaked around my satellite dishThis leak seeped into the interior of the great room and impacted my bookcases Per Lisa Preshcer at the time of this incident the seal on the area had broken due to the freak ice storm that yearThe seal around the chimney was repaired at that time.Based on this experience I felt the company needed to trip to check on the leak in the master bath as these leaks seemed to be an ongoing problemMy concern is that I will now have numerous leaks all over the roof as the cracked seals frayTo that end I have filed a claim with my insurance company to inspect the roof as well as the sky light area. Jimmy Presher's Roofing made the drive and inspected the area The leak was not a part of the original work done As such the company is not responsible for the leak In this regard the company met the basic responsibility of the warrantyThe roof itself was not impacted I was not informed that the warranty had been voided So the warrant of the work is still in place

*** *** spoke with the customer today, 6/17/and asked the customer if the leak was still occurring the customer advised that it was not to her knowledge. *** advised the customer that the roof leak was taken care of by a *** ***'s Roofing employee when she called in the
leak. *** *** went out there today to confirm the repairs were made, and they were. The customer said she was satisfied with the resolution

With regret, we cannot come to a solution this customer will accept We have agreed to fix a problem we do not feel we created at no charge The customer is not accepting that, at this point we can't offer any more

We were contracted by *** *** to tear off and reroof his home and replace his gutters - On 7/15/- we began his job - The superintendent of the job was ***, who was on site during the roof installation - I am confident that when Mr*** came home during his lunch to talk with
the crew, *** was also at lunch The crew did not witness any damaged decking when they removed the old roof The roofing crew and the gutter crews are two different contractors - Mr*** was aware that we were doing the roof, before the gutters This is standard practice - Once the roof was replaced, Mr***, decided he would remove the gutters himself - It was then in his own personal removal that he damaged his decking and new shingles just recently installed.*** Prescher's Roofing, went over there multiple times to address his concerns and showed him where he damaged them from his unexperienced removal of the old gutters We even sent a repair specialist, *** *** to fix the damage Mr*** caused to the shingles free of charge Mr*** decided after he took the gutters down himself, that he then wanted to replace all the wood trim under the gutters, also requiring the metal edge to be replaced once the fascia/wood trim is removed We were not contracted to do this - Mr*** went and bought over $in materials to replace his fascia that he damaged by ripping his gutters off He contracted our repair specialist directly to replace the fascia at a cost of $700- Mr*** paid *** *** directly via check for this *** *** advised at the time he was doing this repair for Mr*** After *** ***, replaced the fascia, which *** Prescher's Roofing was not contracted for or paid for, we were in the process of scheduling his gutter install and was told by Mr*** that we were not allowed on his property We were contracted to replace his roof - we replaced his roof - we were paid for this - We were not contracted to replace his fascia or metal edge - He contracted *** *** for this and paid *** *** directly - We were contracted to replace his gutters and paid $- we were told not to come on his property - We will be more than happy to mail the customer a check of $for the gutters we were not allowed to install - however, we do not believe it is our responsibility to pay for fascia that is a maintenance item for a homeowner, along with him damaging further by ripping off his own gutters - We were not contracted to do this - he contracted *** for this - hence the $charge he reference - $for materials and $for ***'s labor only Also, we would like to add to this complaint that Mr*** also had a foundation company come out and do foundation work on his home - Anytime a foundation has movement and/or a foundation is jacked up and repaired, there is a possibility of roof decking and shingle movement - This too happened after we installed the new roof - Please advise if you would like us to mail the $check to Mr*** - to reimburse him for work he contracted us to do, with the gutter replacement but would not let us on his property to finish the job -

Within a couple hours of turning in the complaint to the Revdex.com , Mr Preschers called, leaving a message 'it would be in my best interest to return his call', which I did, as soon as I received the messageHis indecent, foul and obscene language, leaving no vulgarities unsaid, is unacceptable! No amount of asking him to refrain from such language and stating I was NOT speaking to him in that manner and would appreciate him not speaking to me that way, made any difference in his verbal communicationsI asked numerous times, he continued! His comments went from: "You have no proof I roofed your house, and no proof that I ever have even been on your roof' Obviously, after realizing how utterly ridiculous that statement was...changed to: "I am billing you $2,and my lawyer will see to it you pay me"He also said if our place was on fire, he wouldn't even come on our property!!Mr Preschers was never hired to roof the entire house, it was a new roof a few months before, with never any leaksHe only was to roof the area that was added on during the remodleMr Preschers last crewman got me to get on the roof with him to view the shingles he tore away and showed me the actual location of the leak, where water was entering into the houseIt is the exact location where Mr Preschers crew re-roofed, where the awas done and, stated by his own repairman, he himself sent to usAt this point we have had numerous roofers and insurance adjusters who ALL stated the same problem/issue with the roof and the location of the abeing improperly roofed by the rooferMr Preschers crewman was very apologetic for the work and did not understand why it had been done in that mannerHe, like everyone else that has examined the area, could plainly tell where the leak was before shingles were even removed, He never entered our home, he could tell where the roofing was not properly done. Our insurance won't even cover that area of the roof because of the 'shoddy workmanship' that has been registered with our insurance companyNote: This non-coverage from the insurance company is not the entire roof, ONLY the section where Mr Preschers tied in to the existing roof at the time of remodelIt is not weather related, is simply bad roofing.! Futhermore, I have had NO rain to test the 3rd repair to see if it is truly repaired and causes no more inside damages! IF it is repaired, all this is over less than a ft square, shown by MrPreschers crewman. On final observation, NO ONE does FREE repairs for a bad roof they did not install!! They would be taking on responsibility they would not want to assume, unless they already were responsible (incidentally this is a first, I have NEVER had to turn in a complaint to the Revdex.com on anyone before in years of living!!)There is a problem with the work and practices of this company, or at least, it's owner, Mr Preschers!! No one should have to deal with such inadequate work ethics, poor workmanship and verbal abuse! ALL because of this, we now have damages inside our home which could have all been avoided but it is now to the extent of major damages!!

The business owner refuses responsibility and never intended to make repairs his inferior roofing, no "shoddy" workmanship (not mine but professionals terminology)He's denied responsibility from the beginning until the contractor of the remodle required him to make the repairs and even at that, still denies the water damage from his bad roofing is to blame for our interior damageHad the roof been installed properly at the Remodle section, NONE of this would have happenedBut his not applying flashing but on a portion caused the other portion to leak! Totally the roofers fault whether he takes responsibility or not! What a shame! I would encourage everyone to get a reputable roofer to do your workJimmy Preschers Roofing is NOT that company!

We cannot accept the response until the work has been done We will check out the references and will await a call
Regards,

I am sorry that Mr*** does not agree with the way I felt the conversation went - At this point, we would like for the customer to be satisfied - I would agree to meet the customers at their house and see what it will take to repair the interior and see if we can negotiate a solution that is acceptable to both parties -

Rumfield Drywall has been in business for over years - they are locally owned and operated - as is *** *** - We are in the construction business and deal with MANY builders and these are the sub contractors the majority of the builders use, as well. This is our FINAL offer. If the customer does not want to use these two contractors, then we will rescind our offerRegards - Jimmy Prescher -

Mr Prescher did come out promptly to help resolve the matterHe was very courteous and did seem to have a genuine interest in fixing the issueWe do realize we built the house with an inept constructor who falsely promised a year warranty in the houseWe hope this has a good endingMr Prescher may want to consider upgrading his voice mail system if he claims he did not receive any phone messages throughout the course of months

The ***'s roof is repaired correctly. As a good faith effort for the customer and the builder that did his remodel, we repaired the area for the customer that was leaking at no charge. This area was not the area of the new roof that we roofed. We are not responsible for the interior damage. We will agree to go to mediation with the customer and/or meet with a licensed inspector to determine fault on this roof leak, but would need the ***'s written approval as Mr*** told me if I came on his property he would shoot me
