Jimmy's Carpets response is completely NOT ACCURATE, ABSURD AND A DISSAPOINTMENT.. Their customer service really needs work and as far as her accusations, they are insane!
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Tell us why here...She had water damage so we could not do the floors. You can't install floor if it is wet. Mr. P[redacted] met with Mr and mrs. [redacted] and worked it out. We installed the floor today 4/1/16.
My employee are finishing the job now.

[redacted] came in, took samples home and [redacted] went to measuer. The invoice was wrote up 3/18/14 and she didn’t call her credit card in until 3/20/14. Upon arrivinq to the home on 4/1/14, [redacted] was going to meet us there, to sign the invoice and pay the...

balance of her job. She was not there so our employees
went in and did the job that was on the invoice.
The day that [redacted] went to measuer there was nothing in the room, but on April 1st there were many boxes because she had started moving in. The employee’s
move the furniture and took up the carpet, moved all the boxes out of the room and put them back in the room. Moving boxes was not part of the job. I called
her about the balance and she said  she would be in the next day to pay, she knew she was to pay the same day of installation. The closet that she is talking about us not doing,was not something she showed [redacted] when he went out to measure. She told me, that she must have show the other company she had to measuer. It was a closet in a total different part of the house. If she was at the house like she was going to be, she could have asked the guys to dc the closet and they would have. So it was not on the invoice because we didn't know.
She said she wouldn’t pay us until we did the closet we didn't know about. She said she had forgot to tell [redacted] about it. She didn’t have any more money to put out for the closet and she was not paying until it was done. I told [redacted] he said for her to meet him the next day so he could do the closet and get our money. She said she would meet him that day. But again she didn't show up and her daughter was there to let [redacted] in and she had to pay the balance.
Stated in the letter [redacted] said a candle was turned over and the contents of honey was on a piece of furniture. We didn’t bring the candle of honey to the job. It had to be hers and if are employees had made a mess they would have clean it up because we have cleaner on the vans and they would have cleaned it up. When she call us she had not cleaned it herself. That would have been the first thing I would have done. In my opinion, [redacted] is someone who tries to get over on people. Not only that her daughters car would not start and she had a older man trying to start it and he could not. [redacted] help her to start her car. We did
much more than we were paid for and it is ashame that there are people like [redacted] that would waste your and my time. This is not the type of customer I hope to ever have again, and it is not rude to ask for money that was to be paid on the day of installation.

I spoke with [redacted] the "owner" to have someone come out and repair my carpet, she stated it may be up to three weeks but would call me, I left her my number and waited. When I called [redacted], again, she states she is the owner, yelled at me and stated the repairman came to my home and tried to call me several times, I explained that I received no call, she all but called me a liar and became belligerent and hung up. I was not sure what just happened so I called back and was very calm and asked what number she dialed she read the number to me and she had transposed two digits. I tried to explain this to her and again she began yelling telling me she was the owner and she took down my information herself, I stated again the number was incorrect, she became livid and totally inappropriate, [redacted](the owner), yelled at me to take my business elsewhere before hanging up on me again. I am shocked that Jimmy's is so busy that they can afford to treat customers this way. I would implore you as a consumer to find somewhere else to go, if you read the other complaint it is also of the same nature yelling and immature behavior not expected from a customer service representative at [redacted] let alone the actual business owner a locally owned institution. My advice is to steer clear, there are other options in Powhatan.

Review: Upon arriving home the day Jimmy' s Carpet installed new carpet at our house we noticed that a coat closet had been forgotten, a candle was turned over and the contents including honey had dripped all over a piece of antique furniture and there were pieces of padding and carpet fibers that had not been cleaned up ( dangerous to animals ). We called to point these things out and the owners employee " [redacted] " was rude, verbally combative, called us liars and accused us of trying to get out of paying the remainder of the bill which was not our intent, we were just trying to make them aware of the issues left behind. She put us on the defensive without even trying to listen to our valid issues, she didn't care about the quality of their work, ethics or customer service, period. The owner did come out the next day to complete the job. The reason we are filing this complaint is because she was so condescending and self righteous that we felt very upset and shaken from our conversations with her and feel people should be aware of our experience.

Review: Took my money asked for more and I don't have a floor. The didn't know how to put the floor in even. Hmmm it was that way when they ripped up the carpet. I'm out $2000 and no floor. Now they think I should pay for their mistake.Desired Settlement: Get my full refund. Not part of it. They ruined my floor and then told me it was my fault they didn't know how to install it. Why should I pay for their mistake? They visited 4 times prior to installation and never said they couldn't do it.
