I am rejecting this response because: When the parts were ordered, I was told that if the parts were not needed, I would only be charged for a declined repair: $45. I have to assume the owner came out the second time because either 1) the original technician told me wrong and the owner didn’t want to honor it or 2) the original technician was outright fired for telling me wrong. Either way, the first technician should have been trained better. On a separate issue: calling me dishonest just because I'm disputing a charge that I think is unjust is not professional. Neither is the grammar and punctuation in the business’s response. I like using small businesses; however, in this case, you are trying to take advantage of me and the situation.

Customer was aware of parts needed and given estimate. before ordering anything. Parts were factory ordered was aware of order. The first technician who went out told parts may not be neededbut customer insisted something was wrong. Second technician went out which was the owner. Took dryer apart...
for the second time. Just to advise him on that his ventilation was the the issue. We didn't feel comfortable installing parts. We gave customer a few days to run the dryer make sure that was the issue and it was. Yes the charge is $112.04. Not a trip charge in going Out. For the customer to dispute is uncallfor on his part. after explaining the issue he was having. We did what was right, but customer like this are dishonest in taking advantage of a small business doing the right thing.
