I am rejecting this response because:
Our move did not occur on 4/17/2015.  The claims for both damaged furniture and the gate incident were both turned over to the business insurance company.  The insurance informed us that despite the "scam" (and those were the businesses own insurance company's words) that this business had charged us an ADDITIONAL $450.00 to provide us with "FULL VALUE REPLACEMENT" for any damage to our property- that the insured (this business) knew the insurer (their insurance company to which the handed over the claim) would only pay "depreciated value".
This company's insurer made it clear to us that this company is responsible for the difference between the "depreciated value" that was accepted by the insurer and the "actual" replacement cost that we are out of pocket for.  This company knew when they took our ADDITIONAL $450.00 for "FULL VALUE REPLACMENT" that they had no such insurance, which their insurer confirmed- in fact, stated it is a widespread scam that some moving companies use to get customers to fork out more cash than the cost of the move.
The cost still outstanding for this terrible service and damages is over $9,000.00 even after the insurance covered only the "depreciated" value.

We received your letter on 7-24-15 but nothing on email or phone call. We moved the customer on 4-17-15 and she turned in a claim for some furniture damage and gate damage. Which has all been turned into our insurance co.
Georgia;">They have already settled the furniture claim and the gate claim is being handled by our cargo dept. and we cannot get them to hurry the claim once it’s been filed.
I have enclosed 3 statements by 3 of the movers who were on the job that day.

Review: We hired Jim's moving and it was a nightmare from start to finish. I will give you the short version to help you avoid what we went through. It started with an injury to one of the workers due to the owner omitting important information at the time estimation for the job, which was that we had wood stairs with no carpet. The workers arrived without the proper protection for either our stairs nor their safety while traveling up and down them. The injured worker called [redacted], one of the owners and she told him despite his injury to his ankle that he needed to continue working on it. As the move went on, the workers became increasingly angry with their Management and lack of communication and underestimation of the job they were to do for us that day. The attitudes were apparent and it escalated when the main driver of the truck (Glen) became so enraged that he was unable to competently operate the truck in reverse to go down our straight, flat driveway- that he refused all instruction and warning from his own co-workers, ourselves the homeowners and others present to stop the truck before he damaged it and our property. He was so angry at how late it was, that he couldn't operate the truck properly, that he continued to ram the truck forward and in reverse to the point of ramming our gate into the side of his truck and then ultimately thrusting forward and hitting our access key pad pole in front of the gate.The best part- while his own co-workers and I were yelling at the driver in disbelief, someone at the top of the driveway watching, looked down under the hedge lining the driveway where all of the movers personal belongings were tucked aside, to find their glass pipes with drugs inside sitting in their things. So, my personal belongings and property were being handled, moved and ultimately damaged by people whom were under the influence at my home- and brought it to my home.Desired Settlement: Remit repair estimate for damage to property and refund amount of moving services.
