Demelo HVAC installed a combi boiler in my house replacing my year old system The whole process went smoothly, they were quick with a quote and answered all of my questions They helped me get MassSave approval for rebates and installed the boiler quickly and professionally Nothing but a great experience

Routine service call was excellentComplete install of new system was another storyRich is a nice guy and the physical work that he and his installers did for the most part was goodThat being said, the complete ignorance of the staff manager (Dianna) on how to handle [redacted] rebate forms delayed our rebate receipt for months (over $3k on a huge system)Countless phone calls to her (many of them moderately to extremely unpleasant) because of her and Demelo's complete ignorance on everything from which form to fill out to what the actual model number was of the unit they installed (on three separate forms she used three different serial numbers, none of which were the actual number printed on the boiler or air handler)We had them install a complete new system - heat pump/AC and new oil boilerNothing about it came off smoothlyThermostat for the system was put in an atrium with skylights which later was moved (after I was charged an extra $for installation of an extra vent that was supposed to mitigate the effects of the heat) - Rich said that he hadn't thought about how the skylights would effect this and didn't charge me for the moving of the thermostat (but did not give me a refund for the useless vent)One of his installers smelled badEvery timeNice guySmells badSame person tried to charge me for a new baffle that didn't work the first time I tried to use it (offered to charge me and then "remembered" that he could just flip it over and use the other side)Then they had NO idea how to use the $wireless thermostat I boughtNo help with adjusting it until one of their techs came to the house and then called Bryant (who wouldn't give the information to a customer - only to a tech)no explanation of how the boiler worked substantially differently than the old one we replaced (high efficiency means it doesn't make temperature swings of more than a degree quickly at all) - when I did finally get Rich on the phone he was unpleasant at bestAll in all this was an awful experienceI gave two stars only because one of their techs, Josh, was excellent and the physical work they did was clean and has worked well for almost a year with no issuesI have heard that the office manager is no longer with the company which is a relief

Since last winter, our condo was plagued with a constantly malfunctioning boilerDemelo's did a stellar job of keeping it going, and when it reached a point of no return, and we needed a new boiler, they provided wonderfully efficient and timely serviceThe installation workmanship is professional and outstanding, and we are happy to now have a steady and reliable source of heat and hot water

Hot water heater diedWe called around and DeMelo was able to come on that day to check on it and replaced the heater the next day!
