Wow I've used these guys before and was happy with their work, so I decided to call them to install a powerlock (bluetooth, etc.)
Called ahead, gave them info on the lock, brand, model, etc...the answer was "no problem"
Well, after an hour, the locksmith became frustrated, decided that he had had enough and said he would not finish the installation Since he said the lock was on the door and "working" he had done his job
Well...it won't turn even with the KEY (and it's keyless--kind of ruins the point of installing something keyless, but I guess that's beyond the point)
The real issue I had was the ATTITUDE and LACK of customer service I would have understood if he had said he needed to check with someone, or come back or something...but NO He was done, it was now my problem, my issue to deal with
So, lock on the door that DOESN'T work and I'm having to call another locksmith
Furthermore, called another locksmith, and he discovered that the hole they bored through my SOLID WOOD door was 1/higher on one side than the other--hence all the problems!
Honestly, shocking level of service and poor quality work I have never had someone just "give up" and walk off the job
I would have paid for the extra time he was taking--it wasn't about the money
And the cherry on the cake? When I called over to the locksmith there is nothing they can do since the "boss man" is gone for the day (at pm)
Really, just a shame that you try to support a local business and they fail you!
Never again AVOID them They basically ruined my door and then left me to try to fix it!
late to arrive, didn't put in locks as stated, until I called and asked where he was, had to meet him for my keys and locks installed incorrectly
was to come out at 9:a.marrived at Noon on 8-31- This is a new home not yet moved intoHe asked I give my house key to him so I could leave to go to work, he gave me the new key to the locks he was to install I left at Noon, returned at 6:that evening, no locks had been installed and I was locked out of my own houseHe made no attempt to contact me to tell me he hadn't done the work as promisedI called, left him a msg telling not to do the work and give me back my key He then called me saying he would come back to my house and installI said okHe called me twice at 11:p.mthat evening and I didn't answer the phone as that is too late to call, he left a VM letting me know he installed the locksThe next day I called him to ask when he could give me the additional keys and he said he was too busy so I had to mee
