Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The facts in this case have clearly been distortedThere was no manifest ever created, thus there was nothing to signThe attachment shows the back and forth conversation between my wife and Tony, the owner at the timeI say owner at the time because when finally were able to reach him on the phone, after several broken promises, he told us he sold the company and that we would have to deal with the new ownersWe asked him for the contact information of his insurance company so we could file a claim and he refused to provide this informationThere was a insurance company named in our contract with P-Movers, but efforts to reach someone at the insurance company were impossibleIn the attached text it shows that Tony found some of our items and stated that he would ship them to usIt also shows that we reluctantly agreed to accept dollars and compensation for the items he lost and he agreed to pay this amountHe never shipped the items he found or sent us the dollars he indicated he would provide us in return for the items he lostIt's also interesting that it took over one year for a response While it is true my wife did call theirs offices, it was a naive effort on her part to see if the items Tony found were still at their warehouse since we are moving back to Texas Regards, [redacted] ***

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! Let me start by saying that other consumers reviews are very important to me and I pride myself reading them before I choose most servicesHowever, this moving company was verbally referred to my husband by one of his friends and was the worst experience that I've ever had with movingThe movers, Darren and Terry, were extremely professional and helpfulThey showed up on time but while working one of them broke the handle off of my brand new refrigeratorI noticed this incident while they were out on a hour lunch break in the middle of my moving service, so I proceeded to call the supervisor, Anthony, whom I set up the service with and who I paid my deposit to, just to figure out what their process was for accidentsAnthony was very rude and direspectful and displayed no professional while speaking over me every time I tried to say anythingHe simply told me that accidents happenI very surprised that he's still in business after the way that he speaks to his customersFurther, the rates that I discussed and confirmed with Anthony on the day that I booked the services were said to be $75/hrs for movers, $trip charge, and $1-$for boxes ranging from size small to x-largeHowever, after several hours of interruptions occurring during my service time and breaks being taken, the guys prepared the invoice and told me that Anthony said the boxes are $2-$I was shocked considering I had already written out the estimate that I received from Anthony on day The guys stated that the can not make adjustments with Anthony's permission, so if he said $for boxes than that's what it isOf course, that didn't sit well with me, so I had my sister to call in for a quote and to specifically inquire about the fees for boxes and low and behold, ANTHONY STATED TO HER THE EXACT SAME PRICES HE TOLD ME AT BOOKING! Which means he make up his own prices and this is absolutely ridiculous as that creates a horrible customer services impactTo end, my husband told him that's he only paying the amount that they quoted from the start and that's what we didAt end, the services came out to be $800...and some dollars for a bedroom apartmentHorribleI highly recommend doing your research and finding a crediable company that won't break your things, that will work straight through because your time and money is valuable I'm sure, and last a company that will not make up or change the quoted prices at the end of your service just to surprise when you get your final invoiceTake it from me and personal experience please, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE

Insurance is listed as $cents per pound in the state of Texas as well as its listed on our websiteWhen hiring us you accepted this policyUnfortunately a scratch does not mean you get brand new furniture as your furniture is considered usedI am unable to satisfy you beyond this point so all we can do is let Revdex.com RESOLVE AFTER THIS POINT AS WE HAVE FOLLOWEd Texas guidelines

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  The facts in this case have clearly been distorted. There was no manifest ever created, thus there was nothing to sign. The attachment shows the back and forth conversation between my wife and Tony, the owner at the time. I say owner at the time because when finally were able to reach him on the phone, after several broken promises, he told us he sold the company and that we would have to deal with the new owners. We asked him for the contact information of his insurance company so we could file a claim and he refused to provide this information. There was a insurance company named in our contract with Pak-It -Movers, but efforts to reach someone at the insurance company were impossible. In the attached text it shows that Tony found some of our items and stated that he would ship them to us. It also shows that we reluctantly agreed to accept 300 dollars and compensation for the items he lost and he agreed to pay this amount. He never shipped the items he found or sent us the 300 dollars he indicated he would provide us in return for the items he lost. It's also interesting that it took over one year for a response.  While it is true my wife did call theirs offices, it was a naive effort on her part to see if the items Tony found were still at their warehouse since we are moving back to Texas.

Regards,

Terrible experience. Movers showed up 2 hours late, worked slowly and damaged 4 pieces of furniture. When I called my contact he started shouting at me and told me it was my fault they damaged my furniture and was completely void of any customer service attributes. Don't use this company.

Client originally requested $300 refund. Will this amount resolve this matter for everyone?

Thanks for sending this letter. We would like to clarfiy all belingings were delivered to the client. We made 2 trips at no additional cost to make sure the client had all belongings. We made an itemized list and it was given to this client. They signed off on the invoice after 2nd delivery. They...

reached out to us and claimed they were missing items. We asked them to unpack all belongings and contact us after. The items claimed were not on the itemized list on pickup. The client then requested for our company to pay them $500 for missing items which are not on the list. It is now 2016 and the clients wife reached out to us in Dec 2015 to move her belongings back to Houston. We declined due to this situation. We have them on our caller i.d 3 times cin Dec 2015 to prove it.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  As stated before, Tony was informed of the missing items and made several broken promises to make restitution. As for receipts for all the missing items, this is an unreasonable request. No one keeps receipts on each and every item they purchase. We paid the agreed upon price to have all our belongings delivered, which is not what happened. (my wife even added a tip)

The attached list shows the items that were missing. I have also attached a photo that Tony sent us showing the items put into storage by him. While I do not have pictures of all the missing items, it clearly shows that BBQ grill in it's box(never used) and the handle bars of one of the scooters.
