Jivana Care

Similar to many other reviews on this site and others, they are involved in fraudulent billing. They stated on my care summary from a routine physical that we discussed a vitamin D deficiency and an allergy test, both of which did not happen. They then submitted for a vitamin D deficiency blood work and I later got billed almost $300 for this. Their billing department gave me the runaround for several months and then stopped responding. I have never been to a doctor this shady. Total crooks, stay away.

If I could give no stars I would. I went in for an annual physical which was quite dissapointing. The PA came in, listened to my heart sounds and walked out without a word. This took all of 2 minutes. I was then sent for my blood work and allergy testing and that was it! I reached out to her via the online portal asking about why she did not address my concerns during the visit. She responded by asking me to remind her what they were. What! I spent half an hour filling out those history forms and she didn't care enough to look at them before seeing me ( a new patient). After that, Jivana Care tried to get me to go in for a follow up visit (just to make sure they get more of my insurance $$). WARNING: DO NOT DO THE ALLERGY TEST WITH THEM (you'll thank me later). Spear yourself and stay away from this place. Not to mention that the lady at the front desk was also rude to me. She said she had emailed me about a particular thing and I told her that I did not receive an email of that nature. She argued and tried to prove me wrong in every way. Only to find out that
her email to me was about something else. I had such a horrible experience at this place which was such a shame as I was really excited to find a Primary Care Physician just a block from where I live.

I've been going to Jivana Care for the past 2 years and felt it was important to say what good care I have received. I've been there for several visits and testing and the doctors were always caring and kind good bedside manner, attentive, with great medical knowledge. Their doctors and staff are examples of what all physicians and medical office should be. They know how to treat and take care of their patients. I had a serious medical problem and the doctors recommendation saved my life. The staff helped coordinate all of my care while I was in the hospital. I can never thank them enough for the outstanding medical care they provided. thank you so much for everything you did for me
