[redacted] I am rejecting this response because:While the business' report of not returning the money is true, I was not an unknown to the salespersonIn fact, he described my husband's visit to the store including the fact my husband chose a less expensive item and then made a deposit on something else (because his friend encouraged him to)Furthermore, the store is quite familiar with me because of a prior purchase that was problematic and my three subsequent visits there as a result So, I am indeed no stranger to the salesman who is familiar with my husband as well I did not appreciate the fact I had the deposit receipt, was immediately recognized as the purchaser's spouse but then denied the return of the deposit as if I was somehow stealing from my own husband! My husband put a deposit on a pair of earrings just yesterdayIt was an impulseWe could use the money for an upcoming vacationI went to the mall, asked for my money and the woman asked for my husband Initially, I spoke to the man at the store and he recalled my husband coming in, wanting to make the purchase but directed me to the woman who the man says finalized the deposit When I could not get my husband on the phone, the woman dismissed me-literally and said to come back with my husband to make an exchange She said she did not give refundsNo where on this business card of hers or the deposit ticket does it say no refunds, hence my trip to the mall to request one When I told the woman I was very angry and would return with my husband, only to collect my deposit because I did not want to do any business with her, she said she did not understand my demand and gave me a blank stare
