Plumber spent minutes replacing a Thermocouple on my water heater Fixed to my satisfaction
I was charged $ I asked what the breakdown was and he said the system doesn't give him a break down He told me the part (Thermocouple) was probably $
So I guess the remainder of was labor? That would be nearly $500/hr labor rate Maybe I should become a plumber

I contacted Mrs*** and told her the reason I hadn't responded is because the Plumber that was at her house was on vacation and I needed to talk to him to find out exactly what was done before responding to herWe had called once to tell her we would call when he was back in townI have since
been in contact with Mrs*** and we are sending her a refund

Mr*** contacted us again on the 10th and told us that he had Al's Drain services out and they found another drain line to cable.? I responded that we cabled the line that he requested, that most homes do not have second drain lines, and that we can only be responsible for lines that we actually cabled.? I explained again that we have a day warranty that he signed at time of serviceI am faxing the copy.? I also explained that we have serviced his lines and he has root infiltration and that we have already recommend he camera the line due to the frequent issues he has had with his line 12/I am faxing the sales receipt showing our recommendations.? Mr*** has a problem line, he has multiple trees on his property and their roots have infiltrated his line.? He has had to have more frequent drain cleanings since his original cleaning with us and we have recommended services to assertain how bad the infiltration is and if there are any breaks, he has not followed our recommendations.? His drain was clear during our stated warranty period.? I have offered coupons and discounts for doing the work at cost, Mr*** has refused these offers.? I understand that having repeat issues with drain lines can be frustrating, which is why we have offered a discount, but having issues after the stated warranty is up does not make our work shoddy or put us in the wrong as Mr*** implies.? Due to Mr*** increasing hostility on the phone and gross sexual references, said that I should "Blow a dead dog" I would prefer all interactions now go through the Revdex.com.?

When I spoke to our customer he agreed that there was a day warranty and that he was over the thirty days.? I initially encouraged him to use our coupons (10%) but after talking more with him offered him an even larger discount for the drain cleaning (45%) since I understood that it can be
frustrating when drains repeatedly back up.? A day guarantee is an industry standard and the customer has a history of drain cleaning issues with roots infiltration, we have already recommended the line be televised based on work done on 12-27-due to the frequency and type of blockages and the frequency of drain cleaning required has increased while they have been a customer since 2011.? Durring my attempts to explain that yes I think we've done a good job since he has been a long time customer, he hung up on me.? I would be more than happy to honor the larger discount for the drain cleaning, but since we both agree that the warranty has expired I do not think that a refund is appropriate

The job code cash did was incomplete they were still tree roots in the drain system that they should've cleaned out the first time unfortunately I had to pay a second time to get the job done properly I don't think I should be charge for a job that wasn't done properly regardless of warranty time if you don't do the job right why should I pay you. I asked her why I would hire her again after she did such a bad job the first time her only response was to defend her work when I explain to her that it still had to be done the second time she said her people did great work obviously not not satisfied at all

On November 10, 2015 we sent our cabling subcontractor, Gateway, to cable the kitchen drain at [redacted]., St. Louis, MO 63021. Food debris and grease were removed from the drain line. The line was cabled out 35’ to...

where it was “open and flowing”.
Four months and nine days later, Mr. [redacted] left a voicemail on Saturday, March 19th of 2016, saying, “that he had a clogged drain and it should be covered since we were there recently.”
When our receptionist retrieved this call on Monday morning, March 21st, she pulled up his file on our computer system to review what was done on that last service call and what the date was. Before calling Mr. [redacted], she called the subcontractor, Gateway to review the service call.
She then called Mr. [redacted] and asked how we could help him. She explained that since there was food debris and grease in the drain lines, we could not guarantee for more than 30 days. Mr. [redacted] laughed and said, “Isn’t that convenient” and hung up on her. He then wrote a review on our Facebook page. The review and our response are as follows:
MR. [redacted]: Had work done in November for a clog well down the line, not by Kokesh but by a sub-contractor they sent.. Same sink has started backing up again. But since the clog is well down the line, it took time to manifest itself. More specifically, it sh, but by a sub-contractor they sent.. Same sink has started backing up again. But since the clog is well down the line, it took time to manifest itself. More specifically, it took longer than 30 days for the sink to start backing up again, therefore Kokesh won't cover their repair. How convenient for them. I won't be using them anymore.but by a subcontractor they sent. How convenient for them.  I won’t be using them again.
KOKESH RESPONSE:  I'm very sorry to hear that. We do have a 30 day guarantee policy since drains are used everyday and we can't guarantee them for the four months since your service. We do have coupons on our website and would be more than happy to get you taken care of. We do use Gateway as a subcontractor when we don't have a tech available so that our emergency drain clients don't have to wait. They are also a family owned Union company that we've partnered for a number of years. If there is anything else I can do to explain our policies I would be more than happy to.
MR. [redacted]:  Again, how terribly convenient for you. A sink that hasn't clogged for over ten years, a clog that is actually underground well away from my house, clogs a second time four months after it has been "cleared". I have stops to make on Angie's list, Revdex.com, and YP. Thank you at least for the rapid response on FB.
Our response to this matter is as follows:
While I sympathize with Mr. [redacted] regarding the frustration of home maintenance, we are not willing to re-cable his sink for free. We have a 30 day guarantee and he is well outside this timeframe. A kitchen sink is one of the most used drains in a home and we have no way of knowing what was put down this drain since we last cabled. This 30 day guarantee is standard across our industry where cabling a drain is concerned, especially when grease and food is removed on the first cabling visit. We are confident that we have provided the service completely, professionally and for a reasonable market price.
I hope this helps to clarify our stance.  If there is anything else we can do to assist in this process please let me know.

I had kokesh put in 3 toilets today and fix some other problems. J R was very professional and nice and knew what he was doing. He allowed me to paint behind toilets before he replaced them and was very agreeable to work with. I was able to get service immediately upon calling. I highly recommend Kokesh for plumbing needs!

We had a bathroom plumbing problem: a water line had rusted off at the wall and we needed this repaired. We also wanted a couple shut off valves. We called Kokesh late on 9/6/2016 and requested these repairs. We are so fortunate to have Mike [redacted] respond to our home. Mike was exceptionally pleasant, explained pricing for the repairs completely and did an excellent job on the repair and clean up. We feel the charges to be very fair and would not hesitate to call Kokesh again.
