I purchased my vehicle via *** from the buyer I drove from out of state to pick it up assured it was in perfect condition Jack was very nice, let me drive the car, and look it over He discussed the fact that the front bumper cover had been replaced by a very reputable partner down the road with a great shop Not being a mechanic, I looked the vehicle over as best as I could The tires were bald and the headlight suffered from condensation Disclosures I would have liked to have not been surprised by We negotiated some money for the tires to be replaced and I decided we would proceed with the deal No problems After ownership for a while I have since discovered that the repair place (where most vehicles come from) was more of a chop shop (something he assured me they definitely were not) I had my car professionally serviced a while ago and the company informed me that the front bumper support was actually bolted in with lug nuts Yes , lug nuts They literally were laughing at it/me and asked if I would like them to replace the rigged hardware with proper bolts Very disturbing Since then I have also discovered the replacement bumper cover was repaired with appears to be roof adhesive (headlight washer covers don't work properly, get caught down, sit back too far as a result of this) Additionally, the headlights were replaced and wires crudely spliced with electrical tape that creates a bulb out error every single time the lights come on I ran a vehicle history report prior to this trying to be cautious It was only later that I learned fraudulent companies can transfer salvage vehicles through states to lose their branded title, something I am now certain this vehicle was (again I paid for this to not be the case) Overall, the car was extremely misrepresented and although I love the vehicle for what it should be , I was definitely taken and would caution anyone looking to purchase from this company (www.best4wheels.com and their various *** aliases)
