and *** own a mattress store in Corydon, Indiana. The building is not advertised a mattress store with signage, but they have multiple listings all over ***. They are across the street from the old sears in a blue building and to inquire about a mattress you must message *** and schedule an appointment. He lives in Floyds Knobs and so he only comes to his store with appointments. Which makes him impossible to reach when you have an issue. I was there on July 17th to look at mattresses only, but *** high pressure, you won't find a better mattress, we only have this one left in stock kind of sales pitch hooked me. He also gave me such a short time frame that I made my decision hastely. When I asked how much time do I have, I quote "30 minutes" to ask question and look around. He made the Sapphire Sleep Cool-gel hybrid sound like THE best bed on the market. And it should be for $1,888!!! I indeed agreed that the floor room model was VERY comfy. I ended up taking a new in the box queen home with me that day. However mine was not as comfy, I experience the most terrible middle back pain every morning for the next for 4 days until I gave up and said NO MORE. I contacted *** after night 2 and he told me to give it more time. I did, but it didn't work. He has given me the run around since. He offered to exchange my brand new mattress for the floor model. This is absolutely gross! Anyway, he was going to give me a replacment and requested photos, because he just won't let me bring it in. I sent the photos and he has remained silent. He knows he sold me a cheap knock off and he scammed me. It makes me sick to the core that people don't treat customers with respect. He will NOT give you a refund or allow returns, don't buy from him. Please make sure you get a mattress from a place with at least a trial period or return period. Unprofessional service like this will not keep him in business long. Scammed me out of $1,888.55.

In response to the complaint I received I would like to start with I always do everything in my power to satisfy every customer. This person *** came in and looked at mattresses. I’m a direct wholesaler which means I offer mattresses at a huge discount and all are brand new. *** was interested in queen mattress and I showed him a few mattresses. He like the sapphire cooling phase mattress and I showed him like 5 others that were comparable. He then wanted a metal frame base which I had one shipped to my house so I explained to him we had to wait on my son to bring it out. He was excited and said he would wait for him so he then contacted his parents to come and check out the mattress he was purchasing. After a period of time *** purchased the mattress. I explained to him as I do to everyone that there is a no refund policy and a no return policy which is why I sell them at wholesale. He said no worries this is it. He explained to me he ordered one online and didn’t like it so he needed to return that one. So with that I explained again, *** I’m a direct wholesaler and I sell these new with warranties but there is a no return or refund policy as I sell new bedding only. I also explained if he had an issue with the mattress to let me know and I would happily take care of any type of warranty issue. I also noted the receipt there was a no return / no refund policy on all mattress.I then explained to *** these were premium beds and they had gel cooling foam and they may take a week or two to get used too and that it probably wouldn’t be 100% for 2-3 days. Any issues let me know. The next day he was complaining of the mattress and I asked him what was wrong with it ? He claimed it was stiff so I explained to him it will take 2-3 days for it to be full expanded and it will take a week or two to get used to it. He didn’t want to hear this and said he didn’t want the mattress and wanted his money back and claimed it was not like the display. So I offered to come to his house and review the product to make sure it was 100% and not a possible claim. He explained I couldn’t come over and see the mattress because he lived with his parents and due to corona they didn’t want anyone over. So I asked him to send me pictures where he did and I reviewed all pics as bed looked fine. I responded to his message and told him the mattress looked fine and to give it a week or two and he would or should like the feel. He then said he wanted a refund and I told him I could do something on another mattress and or take care of him but I couldn’t do a refund or a return as we discussed before purchasing the bed. He said he knew and understood the policy but the bed was like new as it was in his home for only a couple of days at this point. Again, I can’t take used bedding and or sell used bed in my location and I explained this to him again and I offered to come out and or to come in and see if he wanted another mattress. Fast forward and I received this letter. I apologize for the long response but I had told him several times plus it’s noted on the receipt no refunds or no returns due to me not selling or couldn’t sell used bedding. *** must be thinking about another customer he has dealt with because I would NEVER of purchased a nearly $1900 mattress without having some time frame of satisfaction for peace of mind. If I had been told that there was no refund and no returns upfront I would of thanked him for his time and left the store. Instead he just scribbles it on the receipt hoping that I wouldn't be able to read it and lies about saying he told me numerous times in the store. Now he has been exposed as the crooked business man he is and now he is lying to justify his poor actions in customer service. He has also made NO attempt to allow for me to return this for a replacement (other than empty words) or to offer another mattress in exchange other than the well used floor model which anyone would find the most disgusting offer. If he truly cared he would have done something WAY before I even thought of contacting the Revdex.com.
