I moved .40 miles with one bedroom worth of household items. I was charged 600.00 (minus a Groupon of 100.00 (500.00)). I generally listed (chairs, bed..etc.) that were being moved. I was haggled about what the movers would take. They tried to charge me another 250.00 plus the 150.00 I owed them for the initial moving balance; which is a total of 850.00 to move a one bedroom apartment .40 miles. This was obscene; only half of my stuff was moved included the major furniture. Never again...poor experience!

Review: I contacted JJ Professional Movers to ask for their USDOT number and do research before hiring them. The male who answered refused to give it to me because I was "unauthorized" and proceeded to hang up on me. I called because their website does not say what their USDOT number is and upon searching on safersys.org I couldn't find it. Based on their resistance, I would be very surprised if they are legally registered to be providing moving services.

Review: THIS COMPANY, WHICH EVIDENTLY OPERATES OF OUT A POSTAL BOX, CONSTANTLY VIOLATES RULES IN SEVERAL BUILDINGS IN [redacted] WHERE SOLICITING IS NOT ALLOWED. THEY COME AFTER DARK, HAVING MERE "CHILDREN" STICK THEIR ADVERTISING IN THE DOORS OF RESUIUDENTS AND MORE HERE, THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE POLICE IS NOW BEING CALLED ANYTIME WE SEE EVEN ONE (1) OF THEM WALKING AROUND.Desired Settlement: STOP STICKING YOUR TRASH IN THE DOORS OF THE RESIDENTS HERE, FOREVER. IF WE WANTED YOUR SERVICE, WE WOULD CALL YOU. STICKING YOUR CARDS IN DOORS OF PEOPLE IS NOT THE WAY TO GET BUSINESS.
