Overcharged $1.05 per Gallon, Bathrooms which they did advertise were out of order. No sign with prices and you didn't know what you were paying I am writing about our experience with a Shell station in Wells NV. we by passed 3 other service stations to go to Shell because we always use Shell. We pulled in becuase there is a huge sign saying Clean restrooms. The restrooms were out of order. I can understand this but what I couldn't understand was why we were charged over $1.05 a Gl. more than any of the other stations in the area. $1.00 more than any other Shell station The price sign was not activated but we stopped the pump and went to another service station. This is a huge rip off and taking advantage of the traveling public. I want a refund to the $3.67 the rest of the stations were advertising. Desired SettlementI have tried to contact them myself and was hung up on. They said that Shell makes the prices and this is not a communist country and they can charge what they want and we must be out of their price range. They had no sign up saying giving the price as $1.05 over what all the other shell stations charge but they had a huge sign up saying clean restrooms and then the restrooms were unavailable period. These people are ripping off the public. They are rude and shouldn't be in business[redacted]

They charged me not only for services rendered (which is okay) but also an additional $400. Complaints from me were deflected.I called Wells Tire to assist me when I had a flat tire about 15 miles out of town. (I had tried to fix the flat, but the vehicle became unsteady and crush the jack.) Two Wells Tire employees did come out and resolve the problem. I followed them back to their place of business in Wells, to buy two new tires (because both rear tires were way too worn). The rental car company paid for the two tires, but I paid for the road service. The charge was $435, which I paid for with my credit card. (It seemed exorbitant to me, but I wasn't in the mood to argue.) About a month later, I received my credit card bill and discovered not just the $435 charge, but also an additional $400 charge, for a total of $835. I called Wells Tire and talked to someone who did not seem very concerned that I would have been charged a bogus $400 if I had not taken the trouble to examine my credit card bill closely. In a very unapologetic tone, he told me to send the credit card bill to a certain email address and that then---maybe---the owner would refund the money. I asked how I would know that my problem had been resolved; this question seemed to irritate the person I was talking to. He suggested I call back the following day and ask a guy named [redacted]. I did send a screen shot of my bogus charge to the email address. I did call back the next day and I did talk to [redacted]. It may not surprise you to learn that [redacted] was not helpful. [redacted], in fact, was a complete jerk. He said many words, loudly, none of which resolved my problem. He pretended that he thought my problem was with the $435 charge. I told him multiple times that I was not disputing the $435 charge; I told him my problem was with the additional, completely unauthorized $400 charge.[redacted] told me that I needed to FAX proof of this problem. I told [redacted] that I had already EMAILED proof of this problem, per the instructions of some other guy. [redacted] was not impressed. He said, essentially, "If it's not a fax, it doesn't exist."You can imagine my frustration. First of all, who has a fax machine, these days? Second of all --- forget about second of all, I've said all that needs to be said. I emailed the information, per the instructions given me, and then some other person is telling me that that effort was wasted and that a fax is the only thing that will work. Also, this guy was pretending not to understand what my problem was. I mean COME ON.I see that this business, Wells Tire, has had a great number of complaints lodged against it. Their Revdex.com rating is "F." I sure wish somebody would put an end to their shady operation.I contacted my credit card company, and they are going to rescind the payment, so I am okay. But I sure am angry at Wells Tire. I believe they basically try to get away with whatever they can, and they probably figure that they'll win some and they'll lose some, but overall, they'll make money because their customers are just passing through and it's unlikely that Wells Tire will be busted for its shady practices.Desired SettlementI just want people to know that Wells Tire is a shady operation. They are the kind of people who view a credit card number as a license to steal.Business Response [redacted] called on Saturday and I was not in. [redacted] did tell him to e-mail his info, which I did receive. I researched the info and came to the conclusion that the initial $400 was charged as a deposit before the guys left the shop. When [redacted] was brought back and the tires were installed, there was another charge made. This was done by another employee. So this was a double charge and was a mistake. I corrected it on the following Monday, two days after [redacted] brought it to my attention. I do apologize for this and it was not done on purpose. I do realize our rating is low, but it is not because of things like this. We are in a rural area and our prices are higher than a lot of other places. I apologize if [redacted] was rude to you, but you did seem to be in panic mode over this. You must realize that we do a tremendous amount of business and as such there is alot of paperwork to keep track of. I also will tell you that I do not operate a "shady" business and we are in no danger of being "busted" anytime soon. May I suggest a little more patience in the future? Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.

We were driving from [redacted] to [redacted] and on the way we stopped in Wells, Nevada for dinner. When we started the car engine we started to hear strange rattle from engine. Because of that we decided to stay for one night in the hotel. Next day in the morning we were looking for somebody who could help us to tow the car to Salt Lake City and the person who was working in All American Tire garage said that it's not legal to tow the car with towing rope in Nevada and that they can fix it. He called mechanic to check our car. Mechanic [redacted] said that he knows what happened and that he can fix it and it will take 2 days. On the same day the person who was working in front desk asked us for 100$ deposit for parts. We gave him. After two days the car was not fixed, it had the same rattle sound. [redacted] said that he don't know whats wrong with it and he said that he can't fix it. We asked him to talk with the owner. The owner said that we have to pay for service even if they didn't fix it. We agreed to pay and when we took the car and started to drive to ATM the car broke totally. We were unable to drive. We called to owner and said. Now we can't drive with the car what to do? He said don't worry you don't need to pay, leave the car and I will give you a lift to the nearest town from were you can rent a car. We wait him for 3 hours and he didn't arrived, we called him 3 times he didn't answered. In the end we left a car in the town and find people who help us to get to Elko from were we rented the car and drove to [redacted]. After few days he called us again and said that we owe him 200$ and that we need to pay it. I really don't want that other people would have the same problem - Here are reviews from other people who were victims of this business https:[redacted]Product_Or_Service: Fixing the car Desired SettlementBecause they lied about the car towing and fixing the car we want to have a refund3 nights at the hotel - 216$Deposit - 100$Car Rent - 500$ (To rent a car from Elko to New York cost 250$/day)Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas, Year 2000 - 2200$ (The car we left in Wells, because if we knew that we can tow it we would do it)Overall - 3016$

On 7/27/14 had front tire separate outside of Wells NV.Were told there was tire shop at Shell station. They had a tire but strongly urged us to also purchase 2nd front tire so they would "match". Sent us to caf for breakfast, & upon our return, gave us bill of $900.10 for 2 tires! Even charged us $15 each for valve stems. These tires were [redacted] & normally sell for $225-$250. We were definitely taken advantage of & ripped off. I've spoken to the "new" owner who said that he had fired the 2 employees that were scamming customers. This facility should not be open to the public!Product_Or_Service: 2 [redacted] TiresOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementWe would like a refund of approximately $ 400 for the HUGE OVERCHARGE/RIPOFF.

Owner insisted my trailer tires were worn out and needed replacement. This was a completely misleading representation of tires condition.purchased 3 goodyear tires LT 235.85R16 tires from above business at $425.00/tire on April 25, 2014.Total labour bill for one hour 115.50Owner wanted to keep my used trailer tires insisting that they were worthless. I have since had these tires inspected by a tire dealer and have been assured they are in perfectly good condition. Job was taken by a guy called "**"THESE guys are rip-off artistsDesired SettlementI bought the tires from these guys and have used them so I doubt a refund is a possibility. I just did not need to buy tires at all. They were untruthful about the condition of the tires I had on my horse trailer.I would like other potential customers to be for warned that these people are crooks.Business Response It is my understanding that the tire you took with you has a bubble on the sidewall. You would have to air the tire up on a wheel to see this. I also believe you were shown this at the time of the sale as well. We also would not have done any work without your permission first. Calling us names is not going to resolve this issue, which is a lack of trust on your part. The tires were in need of replacement in the tech's opinion. I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but I think you should have the sidewall of the old tire checked. Thank you.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I still have the tires Wells All American Tire declared unfit for use and can thus prove that the proprietor and his associates intentionally mislead me as to the tires' condition. He and his associates defrauded me to the amount of $1555.66I sincerely hope that the Revdex.com has the means and resources to prevent this company from continuing to perpetrate this scam. At the very least, I am adding my account to a growing list of complaints made by other customers who have been burned by these liars.

Our family was on en route to Southern [redacted] and stopped at this Wells, Nevada Shell for gas. The price was not posted and upon checking the pump the gas was way higher than the others. We decided to go elsewhere. All of a sudden a guy came over and said he had heard a popping noise from our axel. Within minutes they had our trailer jacked up and parts stripped off and laying on the pavement. Then the hard sell began. Pushing inappropriate parts at an inflated cost, playing with the estimate numbers, adding in shop charges or fees for paying by credit card.By a review of online complaints on [redacted] and [redacted] we are not alone. We had no Internet available to us. I am embarrassed that we were scammed in such a way but we want to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Going into the desert where services are limited is scary enough but when you have someone installing fear that your vehicle is not safe makes it all the worse. Please do what you can...any questions do not hesitate to contact us.Product_Or_Service: RV equalizersDesired SettlementIn the best case scenario we would like a refund of at least 400.00 but I know this is highly unlikely.

I had suspension work done on my 2009 Sabre 5th Wheel RV at JJ Express during a trip to[redacted]Afterwards due to some concerns another local shop evaluated and found the wrong leaf springs and equalizers were installed causing the rear axel to bind up putting majority of the weight on the first axel. Most alarming however was due to the incorrect parts it was wearing a hole in the propane gas line feeding the stove and refrigerator and was only time before it was start leaking gas and likely cause an explosion.I called JJ and got Hal Bent who said the guy who sold and did the work was gone and asked for a copy of what I had redone and pictures which I supplied. He told me it was a mistake and had seen it before but would speak to the new owner and get my money refunded. After months of excuses and even discussions with the owner [redacted] I keep getting the run around. Can you help?Sincerely, Gary PainterProduct_Or_Service: Repair parts and laborOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementRefund 100% for the parts and associated labor/shop fees and sales tax they charged me for the work.
