Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Dear Mr ***, JK AUTO, Please lets gets the facts straightThere has never been another mechanic at no time did or try to repair the A/C on this vanAnd if they did do any damage to it as you have so stated, then why did it not work when you replaced it with a new air compressorThere was only one mechanic that worked on it from [redacted] on Federal BlvdThe only reason I went to them was because you had my van for literally months in your shop being repairedI left you a few messages on your voicemail that if you couldn't repair it then I would pick it up and have it repaired elsewhereYes you did a good job on my other vehiclesInfact I felt we saw eye to eye on most subjects and repairsBut [redacted] truthfully to say that" other mechanics"The A/C never worked in this van for more than a few days to maybe a weekIt was not several weeks for sureGive ma a brakeIt is obvious to me that at least for this repair that you were not able to fix the problem after many attempts & many months in your shopI will take it to a certified Chevy Dealer as you've requested to get there expert advice & cost to repair the A/C to working order & how long it will take to do such repair this vanI will give a detailed copy of there reportI will tell you right now that I shall a special investigator from the attorney general office look into this complaint also to see what his can be done or to proceed with court actionI do hope that you do not move out of the State of Colorado & move to Michigan where your family has a house there that you stated was in a "family" turmoilI do believe at this point I have been more than most people tolerant with this whole situationIt would be adviceable to repair my van now then to wait any longerSincerely, [redacted] ***

Over the year I repaired the van in question several times for many repairs other than the Air Conditioning system that was a big problem on that van since there is no longer parts manufactured for the A/C Tubes in the nation so I explained to [redacted] I had to order some repair fittings from the East Coast which would take a week to getAfter the fittings came I made several attempts to fix the tube leak but one fitting failed to seal @ $ea for the fittings that I still have & never charged [redacted] for since I searched for the exact van in salvage yards for these tubes & Finally found it in sedalia Co so went to the yard removed the tubes & replaced them on his van refilled & checked for leaks & operation of the system that worked fine.Then several weeks later returned the van with complaints the A/C was not working after another Mechanic replaced the Radiator & found he had put holes in the valve to the system, So I replaced the valve & found a broken pressure switch on the newly replaced compressor & repaired it to work since another mechanic had replaced it I couldnt warranty itThat was the last I heard from [redacted] other than about a Cadillac problem until Febuary after I had closed & moved out of the shop placing it all in storage until I could find a place to reopen & that was a squabbled message that if I couldnt fix it he would take it elsewhere & since I cant do repairs at the storage place or my rented home I figured I would wait until I found a new location, But to date I have not found it but searching constantly for it as I have Many customers waiting for that to bring cars for repairsI cant do anything until that is established & a reinspection of a Impossible to find parts vehicle that several mechanics have worked on can be checked for the problem with the A/C system which will be asap

In Response to Mr [redacted] Complaint #[redacted]This van is one of many vehicles I have repaired for Mr [redacted] in the past several years without complaint to any others and this van only after other Mechanics, Shop's, or Back yard Body Men have worked on it between returns to my shop such as Radiator replacement 2 miles away that fittings & seals were damaged by improper tools & techniques used by these mechanics or other repairs that damaged parts like a A/C compressor switch on a new compressor that was installed by another mechanic, which I explained each time these problems were found!  The original problem was 2 tubes found corroded and leaking fit only this Year, Make & Model 22 year old Van that I searched Nation Wide for and failed to find any parts suppliers or manufacturers that had or could get them, So I ordered Repair Kit fitting's from the East Coast in attempt to fix the tubes but one fitting failed to seal with a No Return policy that I paid $48 each + shipping for but never charged Mr [redacted] for and still have in storage with the rest of the equipment & tools from the shop I had for 25 years ( without complaints) but was pushed out by a  existing tenant and Building owner with short notice!During the time of the fitting repair failure I searched and went to several salvage yards in attempt to find these exact tubes needed for this van until I found one 20+ miles away where I went & removed them, Put them on the van, and tested the AC for 3 days after, Then when picked up by Mr [redacted]. Several weeks later he returned with the van After Radiator replacement with complaint the AC not cooling and found the damage's made by the mechanic that replaced the radiator, So I repaired it & serviced it to work again. Then several weeks later returned with the AC not working is when I found bolts missing & a broken pressure switch and attempted repair on the new compressor Installed by another mechanic to make the system work again, Replaced the brake light switch & Turn signal switch & was the last time I heard from Mr [redacted] before moving out as ordered by the Lanlord!I planned to contact Mr [redacted] and at least 10 other customers waiting for the finding of a space to rent or place of employment that can accommodate my equipment & Tools that is Packed in a Large storage that I struggle to afford! In this time I think Mr [redacted] needs to have it at least diagnosed by a qualified mechanic & right tools to determine the reason it has failed again & to find out if the system was from a tampering as in the past Rather than post blame on me for other mechanics Mistakes as I mark & Date most all repairs to determine tampering as manufacturers of parts do to Void warranty!If this is not understood by Mr [redacted] and feels he needs to file a complaint with the State Of Washington? Then I think he should look over all the document dates & repairs for the accusations he makes before doing so plus the possibility of Defamation the other mechanic's or Body men have caused against me!  If & when I find a location he still wants to use my services, I will inform him of such. I have 3 relaters (customers) in search for a space but the MJ industry has occupied or escalated the space's over affordable and may have to move out of Denver or maybe out of State which would be a Big disappointment to me & many satisfied customers for the past 25 years!Sorry for the Inconvenience, Miss understandings & frustration this has caused but my hands are Tied to resolution at this time!
